Updates and the future!

Hey all, I want to say I'm sorry for the sporadic nature of my updates the last couple of months! I've been under a lot of stress between burnout, the holidays, and my mother being in and out of the hospital for various reasons.

Thankfully, I took an opportunity right after Christmas to take a break, do fuck-all, and re-center myself.

Updates on New Format

I'm officially beginning the new format this month; I'll have everything adjusted and ready to go this week, hopefully.

As a reminder, the new format is as follows: 

• 1 sketch per week (4 total, following monthly theme)
• 2 finished pieces per month (my choice)
• 1 $30 tier patron finished piece per month (4 max, round-robin style on a 4-month cycle)*
• 1 finished piece (poll-selected)

Potential Changes to Patreon Format (Poll)

Running this to gauge interest. The long story short is that I want to try creating a bit more of a flexible setup that helps me prevent burnout, which I've been getting doing what feels like nothing but sketches constantly. I would like to have my patrons' input before I make this change.

Updates, Delays, Potential Changes

Updates:

This is probably more along the line of personal stuff, but I'm sure you all have noticed my...slacking in uploads lately. I want to apologize for that. To tell the truth, I don't think I've been in a very good mental state, and I've been struggling a bit with burnout for a bit. Don't worry though, I'm still going to try to make good on this month's drawings.

Outdoor Touching

This one really isn't for the theme or an exclusive, but I figured y'all might like to see the high rez.

I would like to also note here that I think this is going to be how I do all of my finished pieces from now on, starting with the current one I owe (it's actually already inked, I'm working on coloring that this week). 

Coffee Break!

Also, I think I hit a decent middle ground on time spent vs presentation on this piece. Will experiment further with this for a couple more, but I'm feeling like this is where it's gonna be at for sketches.

Post-PN Thoughts and Plans

Hey all! So, as I'm sure you've all noticed, I posted the final page for Princely Negotiations today. I'm quite proud of it; if for nothing else than that we made it to the end!

Finishing it up was certainly a boost in confidence, and has me confident that I can approach a larger project after a brief break.
