(NSFW) Anatomy and Vector

Sorry if this one is a bit random or bizarre, but I thought some might find it interesting to see a snapshot of how my shading process looks. I like working with vector (programs like Flash and Illustrator) since they give crisp lines no matter how far you zoom in. The only sucky part about working in vector is that you can't smudge or blend colors together like you can in Photoshop, so this is the way I section off parts of the bodies to fill in gradients. NSFW Quill (Visual Novel H scene)

Tonee completely went above and beyond awesome quality for his art test, and I just had to offer him a contract for more. This illustration will be used in the upcoming visual novel. I'll be adding things to the pic, and changing her expression etc but hot damn... I think it turned out great. The only weird thing (maybe it's not that weird) is that the pillows match the bed sheets; who does that? XD

(NSFW) Art Test - Round 2 Submissions

Here's part 2 of the art tests I've organized. Several weeks ago I posted an open casting call for artists to help out with the next game (visual novel) since it's going to be lots of work and we want to try and have it out early next year. Bearverly V2 - Wedding Dress Poses

Bearverly's wedding dress is totally inspired by Game of Thrones. It's an unusually normal/elegant outfit for her to wear until you notice the bear feet sticking out XD It looks very fluffy. I switched up her face warpaint to white, since you know, it's a special occasion.

Bearverly - Bathing Suit Poses

Haha Bearverly's "bathing suit" is so ridiculous. It's like she scraped up whatever bits she could find along the beach and slapped them on her body to call it a bikini. 

Bearverly V2 - School Uniform Poses

These are Bearverly's school uniform poses :) More brown on brown but I hope it kind of suits her. This outfit is way more practical and normal looking than the bathing suit she conjured up. It sorta kinda reminds me of Sailor Jupiter's school uniform :P

Bearverly in the buff.I actually grappled with the decision to keep her furry hands/feet/tail in her nude version. It makes sense that they stay, since they're her actually hands/feet but I wasn't sure if that would take away from her appeal.

Aww spoiler alert! These are Bearverly's poses at Lover Level, when she takes on her human form. I had so much fun designing/drawing her because she's so different, and takes on qualities of Barbaric beauty and a bit of Mononoke in some ways. I also really want to squish her paws, haha, those pink beans *_*

Here are Bearverly's poses; you'll notice that I didn't draw the whole body for her. Maybe one day I'll have a chance to fix up these poses, because they are really rushed and a bit sloppy on my part. It's funny to see her this way since she was made for a time-limited April Fool's joke but wound up sticking around :)

Bearverly Early Concept Sketches

Yay! I'm so happy with the way Bearverly's design turned out, that I don't mind sharing these initial roughs for her... They didn't end up changing much so I must have been happy with them :P  Her color scheme went back and forth on how dark her skin VS hair VS fur went, because I was worried the values would all be too similar (that's a lot of brown on brown on brown). In the end though I think she turned out OK. What do you guys think?

Mio - Chibi Process

I'm slowly chipping away at these chibi illustrations so I can have them printed up as stickers. This is a fun art task I've made for myself to break up all the NSFW and new ladies' art. Chibis are just so chubby and fun to do. I hope you like this new chibi style I'm going with ^-^ The other one I had done for my twitter kiriban was really rushed...

Quill Animation - Second Pencil Test

Hey hey! Here's the second pass at Quill's animation =^_^= he's taken my feedback and fixed up her face a bit, which is looking great. There are a lot more  frames penciled in now, and more movement. He still needs to block out the cat's animation and other stuff but this is already looking SO good. I watched the nuzzle part twenty maybe thirty times... haha. My only feedback was that it needed to show the cat butt hole. Can't forget that!!

New Game Trailer

Wahoo! A shiny new  trailer made by yours truly... I have zero experience using After Effects and Adobe Premiere so I basically had to learn everything overnight and crank this new trailer out... becaaaause we're coming out of Early Access in the next two weeks! :D I can't upload the NSFW one until we make the official partnership announcement, but it's basically the same as this with sneak peeks at the adult content.  I know it could be better but I'm a total noob with editing so this...

Quill Animation - First Pencil Test

Here's the latest animation!! It's in a very rough first pass but I've sent my critiques back to the Animator so he can make his fixes and tighten up the animation :3 It's looking so awesome!! Yes that's my real Quill purring in the soundtrack.
