I am happy with the colors and pattern, especially since I'm not that great with fashion but I think this one turned out OK. I think Alpha would be a really popular girl if she went to a regular high school and wasn't a hologram most of her life.

Her wedding dress is one of my favs, mostly due to its rainbow hues. I wanted the material to look like a CD-rom with it's rainbowish colors. Hopefully it worked out, but I think it suits her. Also her tiara is fun and has a hidden easter egg which I'll share with you now... If you've ever seen the old Rankin/Bass classic 'The Flight of Dragons' Alpha is wearing a re-color of the Red Crown of Ommadon, just cuz that's one of my fav movies.

Here are two old outfit designs I had sketched up in Flash, before I realized how much work it was to do outfits on all the poses :P So the left one was for a dinner date outfit, and the right one was meant to be a yukata/kimono outfit. I still like the colors on the right one so it might get used later if we show Alpha in the visual novel.

This will probably be the last contest I run in a while, mostly because it takes a lot of time to work with the printers and ship them out. I might open up the contest again in the new year, but I'll cycle it through other things like stickers/posters/shirts once I have more swag to give out.

The sweet sandy final popup for Fumi was so fun to work on! I added a little glisten on her skin, so it kind of glows where the light hits it. The bar code on her neck wasn't planned out I just randomly drew some varying lines, so it would be hilarious if it actually translated to something like 'can of beans'. It probably is more like her assassin ID.

Fumi's sexy times! I debated about taking off her glasses for these scenes, but she just doesn't look like Fumi without them. I work in a lot of layers so removing glasses is pretty easy, maybe I should just post a pic of that to see how weird it really looks.

Here is the hi-res / full pic of Fumi's kiss. Same as the frienship popup, most of her pose gets cropped so I didn't spend as much time worrying about accuracy of things that weren't going to be in the frame. It's cute she's so tall that she has to bend down for a kiss!

Hey! Remember a few months ago when I posted some early Q-Piddy designs? Well I went back to them and played around with some different directions, so this is the result of that. Her outfit may seem a bit scanty but I wanted to draw inspiration from Greek and Roman dress styles. Very flowy and sheer, almost angelic? As much as I love Godoka (puella magi)'s dress and think it's in the same theme as Q-Piddy I'm leaning more towards this simpler/fun style rather than a big poofy elegant dress.

I don't pretend to be a designer and I have a lot to learn about typography and wordmarks, but I spent a lot of time fiddling with the logo for Crush Crush to make it look pretty. Here is the final version of Tonee's Cassie image! It's really good, and I was impressed at his background skills too (I'm just awful at environments). I think Cassie's skin is a bit darker than normal but I can adjust that in Photoshop. The only sucky thing is that while Tonee was working on this image I guess his computer flipped out and crashed, hard. So he's trying to recover the files he was doing for us :s but it might take a while...yikes.

Here's the final version of the pencil test for Quill! The animator delivered it this week and she looks sooooo pretty, I'm really happy with how she turned out. The cat sounds you hear in this clip are ones I recorded of my cat Quill =^_^=
Meow it's my job to go in TVpaint and draw the in-between frames (many of the kitty's frames need to be filled in) then ink, color, add the works. That should be fun but I probably won't get around to it until Spring. Got more girls to work on for Cru...

Here are the final designs for the fronts and backs of Bookmarks - wave 1. The fronts will have a neat sparkle coating so it should brighten up each image a bit, and that's why I went with a darker color for the background sheets. It turns out Korea (the place where these are getting printed) doesn't allow nudity so originally I was going to have the nude version on the backs but instead went with this grayscale treatment. It's probably for the best since I don't know how many people would want ...

I started fixing up the dakimakura poses Typo has been creating, which is time consuming but I want to make sure they're reflective of Crush Crush's art style. This one is for Iro! It's a great pose for her, kinda playful and sporty (it's like she's spiking a volleyball? haha) ...I added more contrast/deeper shadows, colored the lineart, changed her face and sheet color, and boosted the rim lighting.

It's pretty fun but I feel like the eyes still aren't 100% so I might try some other fiddling ...Other changes I added are deeper shadows, colored some lineart, changed her face and sheet color, and adding extra shading in areas.
