Production on "Team Teen: Convergence at Gravity Falls!" Part 4 has started!
This shot is unique however. As mentioned a while back, Part 3 and 4 was originally one short, and when I decided to split it, Shot 44 was supposed to be at the end of Part 3. Before I animated Sylvia in the shot, I decided to move it over to Part 4, and decided to animate it later, and now the time has come to do so!
What's going on with the Gem? You'll just have to wait and see!

From an upcoming episode of Ask a Toon. Production is almost done, but I don't want to release two Ask a Toon shorts in a row. So it's being pushed to late December or even January, depending on if the next Kassandra cartoon will be ready by then. I might have to release it in early December, if I'm too busy to do compositing for the "What Chu Got?" done in time.

I like working far in advance, but the wait to see how well the videos do is torture!

Team Teen Returns in 2017

I'm really sorry for not posting much guys. I offered to do a review of Moho 12 (formerly Anime Studio), and it took me a while to understand the program, and now it's taking me a while to write up a decent review.

"Awesome Tips To Life" Title Card

One of two series of Kassandra shorts. This one is inspired by the "Good Idea / Bad Idea" segments from Animaniacs, with the added benefit of having allowing viewers to submit ideas. I pitched the concept to viewers in a stream, and already someone submitted an idea for the next episode! This is great because since these are made so far in advance, I have to wait for the first episode to be released before I can produce more episodes.

Feel free to suggest ideas too!

Helen Screaming

Kassandra likes to help make Helen's life more exciting and fun, but Kassandra's oblivious to what humans can withstand.
Needless to say, you'll be seeing Helen scream a lot.

One thing I wanted to do with the Kassandra series is have female characters engage in the same slapstick and wild takes you'd usually see a male character go through.

Kassandra Shot Progress

Wanted to show how the shot's coming along. The background is rough, but is also going to be replaced with something simpler. As you can see, her arms are rough drawings that are placed inside her arm symbols. Today, I clean them up.
Unlike Conroy and Doggy's rig, Kassandra and Helen's don't have a lot of pre-built assets. As time goes on, their library of body parts will grow, allowing for faster animation production!

Back In Production!

After almost four weeks, I'm back working on animations. I'm close to falling behind schedule since I still have business to take care of in other areas, but life carries on. Unfortunately, I'm also not in the house I was moving into, and currently residing in a small house with other family members. I can't work late in the night on projects, since I don't want to disturb anyone else, so things are a little rough. But I still need to keep working!

What The Nicktoons Movie Could Look Like

Alas, the final animated installment of Cartoon Heroes Unite. An animated rendition of an abandoned fan comic over five years in the making.

Throughout the early months in the year, I flipped back and forth thinking about whether I should actually make this. I knew to myself if I didn't create something for Nicktoons 25th anniversary, I'd definitely regret it. After all, you only celebrate that kind of milestone once.

Team Teen Size Chart Full

Working on a cartoon with characters of various art styles, some of whom that would never crossover with each other, it's difficult to decide how big they are next to each other. The trick is to determine how tall a character is is to compare the head size. I think it turned out pretty well don't you think?

Toons These Days: Wander Over Yonder

Due to what's happening with the copyright claims with Team Teen: Convergence at Gravity Falls, the public release of that cartoon will be moved to July, whilst this TTD episode comes out this month instead. So naturally, you guys get to see it first!

This is the finale to the third season of Toons These Days! It's also the 65th episode, so we have enough for weekday syndication!

In all seriousness, I can't wait to start working on more Conroy and Doggy shorts!

Revenge of The Copyright Claim

Turner Latam Kids has it out for me, as they now went after the first Convergence at Gravity Falls episode. Like the second video, a dispute is in progress and now I have to wait 30 days for them to respond, which means another video with monetization has been turned off until then, but at least the second video's monetization will come back on in a few days, unless they want to counter the dispute at the last minute.

Drawing the X-Jet

The X-Jet from the short-run series "The X's" makes an appearance in the Nicktoons trailer (the X's themselves would have made an appearance if not for an abandoned scene, but more on that in a future post).

Team Teen: Convergence at Gravity Falls! Part 3

Here it is, the final installment on a story cut short. In some ways, I'm glad this is where I ended it. Part 4 doesn't feature new characters and would end in an even bigger cliffhanger.

There's a bit of irony here. Before Part 1 was released to the public, I toyed with the idea of making it a trilogy. Nicktoons Movie, Milestone Goal, Toonagram on Break Again

El Tigre is one of my favorite Nicktoons of all time, so of course he's going to appear in this!

Someone suggested "Bob the Builder vs. Fix It Felix" and this is what I came up with. I didn't want them to fight, but I wanted to get a sense that there's tension between the two.

Welp, despite all the fan animations online, I never thought this would end up happening, but it's just my luck I suppose.
