Piper’s a natural with agility!

She got to test out some of our agility equipment and the A frame was her pick!

Introducing Piper!

She is one of our newest pet surrender foxes! She was born 2023 and she is very well harness trained so we are having SO much fun with her! She shows to be a very dominant female fox (First tell sign was how often she marked her territory). But the unfortunate side is she doesn't want to be matched up with ANY of our foxes here. We hope to match her some day. But it appears it won't be anytime soon.

But she's a sweetheart for people ❣️

Juji gets the gold ⭐️ !

Now that everyone has been going to the vet for check ups and vaccinations, the crate has become a negative space for them. I’m continuing to make it positive as much as possible and Juji is a rockstar with her bravery!

It's mating season!

Moonlight and Ryncaria came from a seized breeding situation. So they are very much experienced in the baby making department.
When they came to us we neutered Moonlight, as we don't want to increase the already overwhelming amount of captive foxes.
But these two may be perfect foster parents if we ever get any rescue kits!

Quick Callie update

She’s healing very smoothly and will continue her antibiotics for another couple weeks till she’s completely back to her old self!

Callie’s Injury

⚠️ Graphic Warning!! ⚠️

Callie went to the vet due to concern with her front right leg. She has three punctures there! We are not sure how she was injured, but she will be on strong antibiotics to help her heal as quickly as possible. She received a flush and cold laser therapy on her wound as well. She was a trooper through it all!

Wonderful news!!

Momo was cleared from the UF vet hospital last night and I was able to pick her up! She has been seizure free for two days now and is no longer needing to be on oxygen! She will be on seizure meds for the rest of her life, but we are incredibly happy to have her home!

Paradise at SAF south

All of the newest members have been settling in fabulously! They are a very brave group, exploring all of their new surroundings and taking treats from caretakers. They all love running through their tunnel and napping in litter boxes.

It's finally winter here in MN and all of our foxes are as fluffy as can be. But even Vixie pales in comparison to Ianto. 

Where is the body?

Pantastic caught a rat earlier in the morning and stashed it somewhere in the yard. Of course he wasn't going to help.. so I had to interrogate Jager fox on where I could find the rat. He was also unhelpful. The search continues..
