Over the last few weeks we have been arranging the surrender of a new fox; her name is Mala. We don’t know how old she is. We don’t know if she’s been fixed, if she’s up to date on vaccinations. We don’t know very much about her at all.
What we do know is that she is incredibly sweet and friendly, she loves dogs, she loves apples and her toy soccer ball and hiding her food dish. She is also over weight.

She is our South American opossum and is incredibly shy. Even though she came to us as a baby, she has never really been handleable or interested in people so we let her be herself and interact with her only as absolutely needed.

Shiloh is one of the sweetest foxes at the rescue - he is so gentle and mild; he is still learning the ropes and we’re still learning all about him. He is very small - like Mouse and having been born this spring, he won’t get any bigger. He is around 9 months old.
He is a new colour morph, called Sapphire ice; we don’t know what, if any, health problems like Mouse he will have. He is bred because fur farmers want the lovely colour he is for clothing.

Chichi is Mik’s beloved mink. She was rescued from a fur farm when she was just a baby; she is also deaf.
Mink love water, so when our mink are in the inside enclosures, we rotate bath time - today was Chichi’s turn!
