Woke up to an email this morning that Top Gun Maverick, the YouTube edit, just got fully blocked for copyright—four months after I posted it, and 48 hours after it hit 100k views (only my fourth video to do that). ICYMI, apparently YouTube has gotten stricter with copyright, so instead of just the timestamp over the blurred video, I've had to black out a bit more. I've tried several variations of this to see how much I can get away with, and thankfully I can leave a bit around the edges so it's not completely blacked out, and I've tried to include un-blurred/un-muted snippets at the beginning and throughout to help you sync. Dune and The Expanse got blocked the same way that ATLA did, so I think YouTube may have just changed their copyright rules or something, because I've been doing them the same way as before, and now everything is getting flagged. So, annoyingly, I had to black out most the episode. I put a few blurred out clips to help with syncing, but I had to mute completely, since YouTube/Netflix seem to have an issue with this episode. Finally got it posted though, so I'm in the midst of getting everything else uploaded as well. At least now how I have to do it if this happens again.

Posting Schedule for This Week

For the last two weeks of March, I'm going to do a weekly schedule, since I'm wrapping up the last of my day jobs, and starting this full time.
