Crew canteen closeups

Hello everyone!

Here's some background paintings of the kitchen/canteen area if you'd like to take a look. It's supposed to be a place that an active crew is using, so I just finished  adding in some details to make it look lived it.

Scene 3, shot 2 (inked & inbetweened)

Here's the finalised frames from scene 3; shot 2 of the Monday project. 

It's 440 frames in total, running at 20 frames per second. 

I've penciled in the mouth movements (instead of just drawing usual "anime mouths" like I tend to do, I had a webcam pointing at my face so I could reference my own mouth for this one, to help with some of the tricky head up/down angles. It seems to have worked out alright!) and it just needs colouring and shading now.

Dalek Empire concept designs

Hello again!

As a follow up to my last post, here's some concept stuff and rough test anims for that Dalek Empire pitch. Those rough animations are *really* rough, as you can see! I couldn't even anti alias back then so everything was jagged pixels!

Anyway, here's the look I wanted for the Daleks. The silver and blue 1960s colour scheme, but slightly more armored design. I beefed up the Dalek Emperor too:

Voice teaser

Good evening to you!

Remember when we sent out scripts to read? Here's a raw sound byte of the first few scenes. This is a test to measure the chemistry between the voice actors. I think they bounce off each other quite well. 

After a bit more work and putting each line to the animation, then SFX will clean it all up and give it the sparkling treatment it deserves.

Progress animation - Scene 8, shot 40 (rough)

A very rough cut, here. It's the main character manouvering into a space vehicle in zero gravity. It should look quite nice when all the clothes, space helmet etc are on and it's all coloured.

Visiting a new arcade in the UK.

Hello, all!

I went to a pre-opening of Arcade Club in Leeds on Wednesday, and it was a pretty excellent experience! Here's a video I took with my HIGH QUALITY phone, so come and relive the highlights with me!
