Thoughts on photographing men...

I recently was discussing photographing models with a photographer in Philadelphia (Kenny Lee), and I mentioned some small anecdote about my experiences shooting men. Up until this past weekend, I'd never shot a male model. I'd shot a few men, and I'd shot two of them nude. Both of my experiences shooting men were less than wonderful. 

Male subject one had turned out to be a sexual exhibitionist who, subsequent to undressing, had a major issue hiding a very obvious erection. This carried ...

I arrived in NYC last night after briefly being home since my trip back from Montreal at the beginning of the week. I spent about 12 days in Canada beginning in Toronto, passing through Ottawa, and ending in one if my favorite cities, Montreal. It was incredibly busy in Toronto and Ottawa, though I did have time to visit the National Gallery in Ottawa one evening.

I have a sort of busy weekend in NYC - though I haven't been trying to book too much in order to not get burned out. It's...

New new new stuff soon

I have new sets of photos to post soon! I got to shoot one of my favorite models ever this week (the amazing Phylactere in Montreal). I have lots of journal updates. I've eaten so much food too and have tons of travel photos. I'll be updating from a 14 hour train journey tomorrow :)

Here's a snapshot with Tisdale (Tizzy) at Stephan Desmeules's place in Montreal this afternoon. I'll most more "professional" photos soon.

I randomly shot these yesterday at sunset and made doubles with some photos of flowers I'd taken earlier in the day. I really like how these came out and the colors...I usually dislike my double exposures so I was a bit surprised by these. I hope you like them too :)

I feel like a shell of a human being right now. It's 3:55am and this is why I usually use sleeping pills. I'm trying to think of something else to say, and nothing worth writing is really coming to mind...maybe this wasn't worth writing. I'm in a different country, it's the middle of the night, and I feel really alone...I think this is starting to really wear on me a lot.

Made it to Canada.

And this is not where I'm staying but I thought it was cute and took a photo. This is at the border crossing in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

I forgot to upload a set of instax at the $10 level of myself, and I'll be doing that later today once I figure out how to get wifi on my computer. My phone remembers the wifi from last time, but my computer does not.

I'll also have new sets after this week - I rented an Airbnb in Ottawa and I'll be shooting Phylactere in Montreal as well.

Yesterday of a beautiful model from NYC. I can't wait to upload photos to sets (will do on the 28th!) on here at the $10 level.

So far I've shot five models this week...I have at least 50 instant film shots to scan and upload once I'm home. So that will be interesting haha. It's going to be stressful to get done before leaving for Canada next month.
