NPR testing

Progress has been depressingly slow as work has become rather stressful and I keep having to stay late because as much as I'd like to find something less stressful, I can't leave because the education benefits are way too good >_> But I have about another year left to complete my degree.

Anyway last semester idk if I mentioned, I absolutely crushed it :3 this semester I also intend to get continue my streak of only getting A's~

Text box + choice box tech

So I have been chipping away at the basics. I have created two of the very important things in an rpg- text boxes and choice boxes.

The text boxes are going to be used for displayed text that is grabbed from dialogue tree text files. The choice boxes are more important however- these can be extended to be inventory windows, equipment menus etc... without much work. The basic idea behind a choice is "is it selected?" and if it is "is the confirm button pressed?" and if it is, do the thin...

Overloading is a really bad idea, I had a really stressful semester but it's coming to an end soon and things are winding down, school wise. Next semester I won't be biting off more than I can chew...

Anyway, I took the opportunity to apply a few concepts I learned towards a dialogue editor.

Quick update

So last week I didn't have school and was flexing my programming muscle. I started reworking the concept of the pig platformer into an rpg as I've always thought of rpgs to be a lot more complicated to program- however, I've made some pretty good progress.

Hehe... Gotta be honest, I wasn't expecting to be quite as busy as I am now with school! I believe I mentioned it last update. But I'm going to school full time and well... between that and work(which has been kicking my ass as it's been busier than holiday/hurricane season!) So I've been gettin' in some good progress on finishing the graphics for this!

Tinder mini game update

So I have all the necessary program stuff done and out of the way, and I was writing the dialogue and choices for the tinder mini game and hoping to include it in an update patron demo but I just don't like where it was going. So I'm going to rewrite what I had!

The new demo will have the act 4 stuff and this mini game accessible via the scene select
