Pacific Beach Yoga

I compressed a 15 minute recording of me doing yoga at Pacific Beach... if you want to watch it, find it on Instagram under the name @mindyouryogi. It’s just yoga content because I’m completing my hours to become a teacher.

I like to keep track of my practice and look back at this one day and be proud of my progression.

“I feel like a sofa”

Poses I would consider for my next sofa sesh!

I like to practice my pose flow. It really does pay off at photo shoots when I’m not the photographer.

BW vs Color

I love the black and white transformation when I have a very low f-stop and the light is too blown out in the color version.

 I thought it was a great save and gives it an old fashioned, classic feel.

Time Will Tell

Whenever I am taking pictures of myself, I picture me in a different time or as a different person. It helps me not overthink myself.

The sun was very bright even though I thought I left late enough for sunset... it wasn’t ideal lighting at all. But I played with the angles and didn’t want to get down about anything -

I am happy I captured these... black and white has a time and place and I love how it all worked out gravy.

Door in UK

This was at my cousins house in England. I love English houses... every home has a different door, just like in Germany.

I kind of have a thing for doors, windows and old/abandoned homes/places.

Anytime I get to shoot that, I’m excited.

I wish I wasn’t so exhausted doing all the modeling and photographing myself... that’s why I love modeling for other photographers - I can just flow with my poses and have a lot more pictures to choose from.

Drone Shots

It was windy that day, but I got really lucky being at the daffodil farm alone. I got the shots I wanted within 20 minutes.

These were some other photos I liked, that I haven’t shared anywhere.

I am literally holding the drone remote in my right hand, taking these pictures.

Me in Germany by Owen Filion

Today I got a message from my ex husband in Germany -

He said he was sorry for how everything went down and that he still to this day thinks I’m the love of his life.

I won’t respond, but instead I want to share... I found these pictures Owen Filion took of me while my ex was at work. I remember having to think of a lie because I would have to tell my ex everything about my day 🙄

Painted Face

Yesterday I woke up with an excitement to create.

I made a rose crown and rose bouquet, then decided to paint my face and make art with all these creations.

First I recorded my videos from home and after it all I thought it would be fun to go out to eat with my kids. We went to our favorite place and people loved the face paint!

After dinner we all went to Lars‘s house and played video games all night. I made more art with my face too and cleaned his whole house 😂�...

I had such a hectic day that day and I don't mean it in a moody negative way, it's just that I generally take my kids with me when I go to cool places like this and it makes shooting even more challenging.
This day wasn't planned, either. Cheri called me out of the blue and said she was passing by my house and wanted to see if we wanted to join her. 

I am a spontaneous person. I am also very impulsive.... so YES, LETS GO! 

We were with 4 kids total. Getting this shot...

Last Night

I just threw this bouquet together and tried to make it big enough to hide behind it and only have my legs showing.

I think it turned out alright. Lars might edit them... it was mainly just for a random video on @aliceinanutshell and Lars snapped a couple quick pics while my camera was filming.

Brenden always has me gob-smacked when I get my pictures back! I am in the process of converting all my RAW files to JPEG for sharing, but I will have the full set up today! Eastlake Boat Shoot

There were roofers watching me and a lady was even laughing! Probably because it was cold... but I wasn’t freezing my ass off. If I want to be out and do stuff like this, sure watch me and laugh if you want. When anyone laughs at me, I see it as I’m doing something unusual and that’s an accomplishment for me.

If people are stopping to watch, that’s awesome! I like giving people something to look at.

As long as it’s not windy and rainy, I don’t mind being in cold weath...

Landstuhl Germany

I've been sitting on these pictures because I don't like to show that I smoked. It's so nasty to me now...but in 2017 I smoked a lot. It was gross. These pictures were taken under a bridge in Landstuhl leading to a train station.
