Even though these are just phone pictures, I really appreciate the memory. I went to Vegas to shoot self-portraits at Red Rock Canyon Park for my upcoming gallery. I’ll share the Red Rock pictures soon! I hardly spent an hour out at Red Rock because it was actually windy and cold… I wasn’t expecting it to be so cold and windy, but I still am happy about the shots I got!

These are moments when I am true to my inner child. Growing up, I always wanted to ride horses, but didn't really get to. Now as an adult, I just want to make all my dreams come true. Animals calm me down and bring out the best in me.

These photos remind me of when I used to love looking at photos of Marilyn Monroe as a kid.

There's a classic sensuality about the look in her eyes and how she's casually going about her day like everyone else but she just stands out so effortlessly. Even amongst a crowd, all you see is her hair blowing as the train approaches.

Film Shoot

Some shots I took with my film camera at work. I thought it would be cool to look back on some retro style shots from the strip club. Things are changing very fast, with new laws…. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be in the clubs, but it’s nice to make memories while you’re still there with the people you love!

Summoned

A simple shoot in my backyard. The lighting was just right for this kind of theme. I actually really like shooting at my house for a casual flow and thinking out of the box. I don't always feel the need to venture out. Creating at home makes me just as happy.

November 7th

The sun was quite low at 1pm yesterday, which doesn't cause shadows nearly as much. Also lucked out with no clouds for the style I had in mind for this shoot.

None of these shots are edited. It was a spontaneous shoot to practice lighting and posing while the kids were in school.

Halloween 2024

Created some really cool art for Halloween this year. October is my favorite month because I get to wrap my head around new ideas.

I painted my face and hoped to get a decent picture with the sunflowers. I posted my best pictures to Instagram... these were all the photos I wouldn't choose.

Pua Nani

These photos didn’t require any editing besides a black-and-white filter. I like how they are slightly blurry and give off a vintage vibe. Every time I see them, I love how genuine they are…I am mesmerized by the simplicity and natural placement of the flowers. I met Petra through an Instagram ad I posted about heading to Hawaii for an underwater adventure.

She was a wonderful model!

Too Spicy

Bet you wish you could see the ones where I’m bent over! I really love the boldness I brought to this shoot. Lucien had fun shooting something a bit steamy and was happy to get out of his shell too. I think these shots are rad!

Latex

Had a really cool shoot in my latex outfit, at Gas Works!

@mau_sea on Instagram took these. It was my first time meeting him. He was easy to shoot with, professional and kind!

It was about a 30 minute shoot, quick and easy! When I finished up with the boots, I suggested taking some bikini shots… it was way too bright for the bikini shots, in my opinion! But that’s not on him at all. It’s my least favorite shooting in direct sunlight when I’m the photographer�...

Road Trip

Took a mini road trip yesterday to Oregon and saw a couple waterfalls I've always wanted to visit. It was a fun family trip and the waterfalls don't require a lot of hiking. I like it easy accessible sometimes because my 3 kids (11, 9 and 4) get tired when it's too much.

Managed to get a few shots that I am super happy with! Thankfully I drove back after leaving the house, to get my tripod I almost forgot.

Kingston

Some shots I took today just for fun at my favorite beach! Even on cloudy days, it's never cold because the big wall stops the wind.

The lighting here is always on point and there are lots of settings to pose in. It was great to be there without people around...and on the way back to the ferry, I picked some berries... I love simple joys.

Car Show!

This car show was at a fair and I found out about it through a friend. I was just enjoying the rides, without really trying to get a perfect picture. I’m not bothered with editing them. All the car owners loved it when I asked if I could pose with their car! Some even approached me and asked ☺️

Selfportrait today… taken with my phone. I had a photoshoot with an old friend and we didn’t have time to fit the boots in, but I quick got a few pics with the white wall. Next time we are going to shoot the boots, though- I’m really looking forward to that!

I met Thomas Dawson through a mutual friend a couple years back. He doesn’t live in Washington, but when he does visit from out of town, he always reaches out for a photoshoot. It’s nice to model for him because he’s really respectful and takes his work seriously. He also doesn’t mind getting up early … which I prefer.

I met Guillermo for the first time for this photoshoot at Rattlesnake Lake. We casually went on his paddleboard to just look around and find a perfect spot to shoot. I said “look, there’s some geese over there, let’s see if we can shoot with them.” Of course I didn’t bother them, you can see I kept my distance. They didn’t even fly away.

Guillermo forgot his actual camera on the shore, in the midst of us trying to rush to get out there because time was just catching up to ...

People can be too strict about their appearance and struggle with harsh self-criticism or perceptions of being judged.

I'm learning more and more how to professionally interact in these situations and make it an uplifting and comforting experience.

It's important to spark up the kid in us again and just surrender to fun. Being too serious about looks can be harmful to our mood.

Yes it was cold, slippery and slushy all the way down, but I felt like a video game character and I love channeling into my inner warrior. I slayed this hike and love the photos we got!

It was a challenge well worth it! The reward is always such a great feeling when you’re done. 😎

Dream

I had a dream that I was at a wedding and I had the opportunity to take incredible photos. In the woods, in the snow… them jumping in the lake, even.

Next door was another model that wanted to shoot; I thought I could do that first and just come back to the wedding.

The model next door wasn’t at all experienced. She didn’t follow my direction when I would pose her, she kept dropping my stuff and breaking them. It was a disaster.
