Offboarding

Even with my eyes closed, I can tell the room is spinning. Groaning, wincing as the tissue in my neck feels like sandpaper scraping it’s way through my voicebox. Blinking, spots dance through my gaze as I roll onto my side. Vision clearing ever so slightly.
