Rakshasi

Known across several towns as an excellent masseur and chiropractor, Rakshasi is a rabbit who has an expert paw when it comes to precice and strong tending. Able to reset stiff backs in ways that will make the customer moan in relief in but an instant as well as work paws on that same back with skill enough to send the customer into the most blissful slumber, her reputation as a trustworthy bunny with a soothing motherly manner has been steadily spreading through local settlements. She might ...

Offensive Weapons Officer

"Darjeeling finished crossing the lobby, careful to avoid any of the moving Templethorn vines as slowly as her nerve allowed. When it came for the marten's turn, he has scarcely taken a step when fate interrupted. The lobby wall erupted in a storm of rotted plasterboard as the hulking figure entered the room without using any doors at all.

Stepping forward unafraid of the vines the one person armoured wrecking team took but a second to survey the surroundings, before his head snap...

Space Springhare Firearms (Primitive)

Space Springhare technology fundamentally rely on Bonewood Clay, both in it's material of construction, as well as it's power source. This naturally extends to their weapons as well. While just like any species the Space Springhares can have fancy futuristic firearms that incorporate the latest of their Bonewood China technology or hybrids with other alien tech they come to understand there is always a starting point they must work from, a basic template for the general firearm designs that t...

The RimWorld Space Springhare Mod (and more!)

Well this is something I've been tinkering with for the last couple weeks or so now, and while not compleated I've got it to the point of being useable and just want it out the door so I can be ready for the stellaris update and redoing all the mods for that!

The RimWorld Space Springhares mod adds (as you might guess) Space Springhares! With custom graphics (By Timor, naturally~) and a bunch of little extras here and there, this is setting up a framework fo future updates.

But wa...

The Springhare Race Mod for RimWorld

I bought Rimworld a week ago on a whim. Part of me regrets doing so. it caught my eye a little, but I wasn't entirely convinced. Then I mentioned it to a friend called Geb, who convinced me.

Seven Days Later....

So yeah, I've become addicted enough to RimWorlf I went over the game's back end as much as my sleep-deprived brain can handle, commission a bunch of custom made graphics, and threw this mod together. It should work well, but if there are any bugs I'd love to hear it!

Rag Tag Rookie Rodents Cover

Introducing: Rag Tag

Well the time has come to make a little bit of a large announcement. In the shadows, squeaking away in the dark, I've been working with Timor the last few months piecing together a rather large and ambitious project, one that's the reason for both a lot of the style sketches and character drawings that have been posted of late and will continue to be posted... and the reason I've not commissioned much the last few months.

And now the time has arri...

Timor and The RAG

The artist himself! Behold Timor is both the official Thistleland artist... and a Thistleland character as well! What will this mean in the future? Only time will tell!

These pieces were a few style tests as well as a general excuse for getting his design down, not to mention good oppertunities to get more characterisations shown for the Rodent Adventure Group! Trust me, there will be more from this Beech Marten in the future!

Who is the rabbity fellow? Eagle eyed viewers might gu...

The Stellaris Space Springhares Mod v0.7.3

It has been a while since the last Space Springhare Mod update for Stellaris, but at long last things have moved!

A lot has changed since the previous update, 0.2 if I remember correctly. Since then both the Mod has progressed notably, but also so has Stellaris. Attempting to get the mod working properly on the latest Verne release of Stellaris, with it's new features, caused quite a few near dead-ends and large scale alterations that were finalised before needing to be refreshed entire...

CIVET BEAST TYPES

The instabilities in what are presumed to be the magics which created the Civet Beasts left them with many banes, their destruction in sunlight being the most well known. However, this same bane has been a boon for the monster, as with instabilities comes adaptation. Without the gift of taking attributes from victims, the monster would have likely been resigned to the history scrolls. As it is, Civet Beasts are still a very common problem for some cities acr...

Civet Beasts are a somewhat new monster within Thistleland, having a history measured in years, not centuries. They first appeared in the Undercity of the capital Guildtown here and there, alongside the usual low level monsters found in most sewers and dungeons. It soon became apparent though that t...

SwarmFox Types

The Tiny Hungering Vulpines may be a single intelligence across a vast number of drones, but those drones are not all identical in shape. Her intelligence, however, is mirrored through every drone. Were you to separate a drone from the massed swarms both physically and mentally, it would change little aside what facts and figures that drone can recall. That new separate intelligence, once brought back to the swarm, will usually become just another drone again with little change aside her indi...

The Tiny Hungering Vulpines Stellaris Mod V0.9

And that title is still quite a mawful to say!

There's been quite a lot of work on this mod since version 0.1, including a complete rebuilding of the mod from the bottom up. In this version of the mod, so much has changed (more or less the entire mod) that instead of listing the changes, I'll just list what it does.

The Tiny Hungering Vulpines (That is the name she calls herself) will now appear as a Fallen Empire at the start of the game. There is a chance of her appearing in any...

Civet Beasts

Below Guildtown, the de facto capital of Thistleland, deep below it's basements and cellars, even deeper then the brickwork sewers, lays the Undercity. While Guildtown was built around the shattered husk of a Cracked Temple, it was also built on top of the access tunnels, service ducts and utility rooms stretching far below the giant ruined structure.

Though the builders, architects and planners of this city build cellars, basements and subterranean routes below the city, few...

The Stellaris Space Springhares Mod v0.2.0

Well, it looks like Stellaris has updated, to the "Lee" edition, named after another cracking science fiction writer no less!

With that, comes my need to update mods, and post progress made. Sadly the last couple months have been so busy I've hardly had to to check my tail is still there, but progress has been made in the mods at least, thankfully.

With all that being said, the Version 0.2.0 of the Stellaris Space Springhares mod is released, and should be compatible with Stellari...

The Stellaris Space Springhares Mod v0.1.0

This mod has been in development since before the Stellaris Tiny Hungering Vulpines mod , but due to certain tricky clashes between Stellaris mechanics and Space Springhare lore, I've had a bit of a struggle.

As such, while the mod has many features already, including custom traits, civics, portraits, starting systems, army stats and the like, there is a lot of work left to be done!

The Space Springhares are designed to be a playable species, and also one that will appear in...

The Stellaris Tiny Hungering Mod v0.0.1

It's about time I officially announced this little project!

This Stellaris mod is the start of what will hopefully be eventually a fully functioning Tiny Hungering Vulpines experience that should be somewhat regularly updated with more features.

She is intended to be a sort of early to mid game crisis to face against, and while she isn't *intended* be be played as, I've left in the ability for a player to choose her as their empire, if such a player wished. Though be aware when pl...

She arrives.

With a thousand paws she rolls over the hills, with a thousand eyes she sees you, and with a thousand jaws she hungers for you.

The ending stages of the Tiny Hungering Vulpines swarms are a sight upon themselves. More Swarm Fox drones then can be counted, rolling over the last stands, those trapped survivors, and often people oblivious to her even existing. All are the same: Prey.

By this point all forms of her drones can be on display, from the Laval Swarm Foxes and Proto-Vixens ...

"This way, my favoured morsel..."

"...A place has opened, and you are perfect to fill it."

The Tiny Hungering Vulpines like to make Pantries wherever she goes. Places to store and process her prey. A secluded place to breed and feed, often in places of comfort for her.

Most of her prey are subdued, dragged away to their new home unwillingly, snatched away in their sleep or pulled into a dark alleyway as they do their shopping. She can be fast, she can be strong, but more then anything she can be sneaky.

The Tiny Hungering Vulpines

The Tiny Hungering Vulpines are a species I've been working on for a little while now, but she actually started off as a bit of a throwaway joke empire in a game called Stellaris. Selecting as vulpine portrait, I made the Devouring Swarm empire and called it the Tiny hungering Vulpines, and along with almost twenty other AI empires, I played Stellaris with the full expectation she would be immediately destroyed.

I was wrong. Oh, how I was wrong. Every single game she devoured large sect...

Peter and Garnet

Peter Dogood and Garnet are unlikely partners that have a small operation going on, travelling between settlements to sell and buy wares for coin.

Peter Doogood is a travelling merchant Red Squirrel who has a friendly and outgoing personality when on the shop front, confident in his abilities and owning a keen sense for a good trade. A believer of a fair trade, he sometimes corrects a person if he feels they undervalue his goods. Some may consider him a fool for not taking advantage, bu...

Snuggling Squirrels Separately

When Peter Dogood first saved enough gold coins to purchase his caravan and trusty Udderat steed, he never knew the complexities of travelling between towns, buying and selling wares as a travelling merchant.

Firstly there were the logistics. Food, supplies, stock. All needed to be replenished, and easily topped up. Stock alone was a complex task, knowing what was selling at a premium at each settlement, and which settlements wanted to offload valuables to him.

Rodent Rescue

It had taken Chai less then half a day to find where the missing Minstrel had vanished to, and in hindsight it all made sense. The fancy rodents dumbo ears, while not as large as a rabbits, were certainly able to pick up the curious sounds floating around. Clearly a Fennec Wolf, and clearly one that had a strange sort of musical air to it. No surprises where the music maker had gone.

Chai never really asked how these situations happens, once upon a time she might have but pri...

The Fennec Wolfs Minstrel

The rabbit has been wandering the plains near Brackendown woods for much of the afternoon, trying to find the source of the strange musical notes floating through the air. His own playing of the lute was not so much interrupted as it was complimented by the strange, deeper notes wafting in the gentle breeze.

Thankfully his long lapine ears were excellent at locating and understanding sources of music, a trait that served him well during the years he had lived as a minst...
