This episode builds up to a special little arc with Starlight and Gray.  You can also probably see this is building up a possible altercation with her, her job, and relationships at work.  I can say it's going to be fun based on the concept writing for this arc. :)  Sadly no real easter eggs here visually.

Filly Steps Episode Discussion

With New Years a month behind us and the Lunar New Year coming to a close, a new year is usually a time to start fresh and new.  We might have some grand goals, but how often do we accomplish them?  Anyone here have any 2022 goals?  I've been wanting to learn a new language (I have mastered American, Canadian, Australian, and English!), and I can successfully say I have been learning a whole new language for a month now!  I'm very excited about that.

Flags of Canadian Cities Ep. 2

Our last Youtube post actually gained some traction with the hidden Adorkable in the thumbnail.  No hidden Adorkable this time, but this is the latest video.  We venture into the world of vexillology in Episode 2 of "Flags of Canadian Cities."  This one is a real strange one indeed as we check out some great and not-so-great city flags.  One more to go for this series.

Return Please Episode Discussion

All In The Brows

Just thought I would share this real quick. It is amazing how suddenly an image changes with a simple alternation of the eye brows.  It's all in the brows.  Sympathetic becomes evil creeper becomes normal innocence.  The amount of understanding we gather on emotion from real life people is heavily based from their eyes and upper brow.  This is exaggerated in cartoons (especially comics) since we only have one or two panels to convey a certain emotion, while in real life or...

Not Quite Home For The Holidays Episode Discussion

Hearth's Warming Tree Episode Discussion

I know we showed this episode early here, but I promised I would do an episode discussion on it. 

So the first thing on panel one is the sign.  For reference we looked at National Park signs in the Pacific Northwest to design that sign. There is also an "Equestria Forest Service" badge on the right, but it has no visible details.

Do Tell Episode Discussion

One of my personal favourite episodes to write is when Rarity can be... nuts.  Like, wild and thirsty!  In typical Adorkable tradition, Twilight visits Rarity and has a conversation about seeing some pony (Lawrence).  Of course Rarity runs away with this and steals the show.  But you can't ignore the silly quips by Twilight or the scene with Sweetie Belle.

Rainbow Project Episode Discussion

Best Friend Episode Discussion

This was part of our vaguely holiday themed episodes, which in theory could be used anytime from Thanksgiving to Christmas.  I don't believe we've ever said Hearth's Warming in the series to make it more marketable for whatever.  lol.  Anyways, this episode just plays of the room mates of Vinyl and Octavia once again.  I wouldn't say Octavia is purposely deceiving Vinyl, but we all know Vinyl can think a tad differently.

We made it to the final day, day nine!  And look, we got Starlight acting all saucy.  Imagine an AT&F saucy calendar!  Wouldn't that be insane? Everypony would be fully clothed, drinking apple juice, and no hooves would be held amongst ponies.  It would be a delight.
