So, some of the gear for my next video arrived...

I've still got some last minute adjustments to make to the script, but I've got a filming date in the diary for next week and am super excited.

The location I've managed to arrange for the video is hopefully going to look great—perfectly suited to the subject matter at hand.

The script for this video has taken so much research and I can't wait to get bringing it to life!

Editing Update

Hi all!

The new video is almost there now!

I've been editing throughout the weekend and have got most of it together now.

There's just a few more minutes of footage to find some beautiful b-roll to make more visually interesting and then there will likely be a little bit of tidying up to do.

My current goal is to have an Early Access version up for people on the relevant tiers by Thursday or Friday and then to release it for everyone else next Thursday with a Premiere....

BTS: Filming Countries Video

Yesterday was an exciting day as, with a little help from a friend, I headed out to film my next video.

It was an incredibly early start to get to the beach where I was planning to film for 5am. This was partly to try and get some nice light as the sun rose, but mostly ended up being a good move to avoid there being too many other people as, towards the very end of the shoot, we had to contend with Beach Zumba and lots of very friendly dogs coming over to say hello.<...

Preparing to Film!

I had a couple of new bits of kit arrive in the post yesterday including this tiny microphone!

As I've mentioned previously, this current video is going to involve filming outside which is going to come with a few new challenges. Although it's often the challenges that make doing this fun!

In fact, for the first time ever, I've even hired a friend to help ensure everything goes smoothly on the day.

I've just finished the script for my next video on George Orwell and Jordan Peterson.

I'm probably going to do a bit of re-drafting over/after the weekend whilst I wait for some bits and pieces for filming to arrive. I'm also debating adding a little joke bit to the beginning!
