I've been working on this song pretty tirelessly this past week, after originally coming up with that intro chord progression weeks ago. I was waiting for the Aquila to arrive to continue the idea though, as it just fits so perfectly with it!

I watched it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was pretty cool! I wished there were more 'music' scenes in it, but it was a different story in comparison to the anime nonetheless.

This is probably my favourite song from the franchise too!

I apologise because I couldn't get the backing track or stems for this cover. For some reason when I loaded up the project on my old Mac, half of the stems were missing...I have no idea why only half :(

So I've combined the two tiers this week so that you guys can learn the full guitar parts if you wish!

I'll start bouncing out the backing tracks as and when I finish my covers now so that this doesn't happen again.

It's finally here! I have received countless requests to make my version of this song, but I always wanted to wait on the full version before covering it. 

I think that this opening is probably my favourite from AoT. It's super atmospheric (which I love) and allowed me to get creative with how I recreate that aspect of the track.

For the guitar nerds I used the Duvell on vocal lines, Syn custom on the violin lead sections, Telecaste...
