Painted this guy using easy and (I think) most effective techniques, thanks to Water Mixable Oils to get tiny highlights without going mad.

I'm working on a new project, I'm collecting pictures for a pdf of this Bust from Carlo's miniatures, what do you think about the concept? I'll keep posting also more of the painting process of this ultramarine guy, it's fascinating how to paint nmm with wm Oils(you can easily do it with acrylics as well), but the most important thing is understanding where to put the highlights and reflections, I'll explain the logic behind.

First, I'm super happy with how this marine is turning out, the black and white version with the orange accent is a killer combination, and I'll paint a White scar next. The next video will be on how to paint an elaborate cape, and after that I'll make a video on the blue armour process.

Wanted to paint a generic marine, but can't resist the kit bash frenzy🤣. At least this will be a good opportunity to show you a trick to make honour cords in no time.

Updates

My laptop Is alive again, thanks to the machine God. I had to change the hard disk but the techpriests managed to save all the files and footage. Today i'll get back the laptop and start to installa everything and hopefully in a few days i can start posting new content again.
