I went from the line art versions of these assets to 200 assets completely finished in 3 days.
Which I think is quite possibly the fastest I've ever worked XD

It has been a loooooong time since I've written an article for the website!

After making the settlement's asset pack a week or so ago, I really wanted to make a map showing them off! There were so many amazing little assets/icons for villages, towers, farms and temples that I decided to put some of them together and make a small region map.

I was super stumped for ideas on this one for some reason and got a little burnt out on it towards the end but despite that I'm still pretty happy with the finished variants.
The Lava variant for the Wyrmling is a particular favourite :) I based it off of the Smaugust dragon we did a while back.

Well this was fun!
I sat down on saturday to make a few little buildings to match the mountains and forests that I finished recently.. annnd well...
I ended up making 185 assets in the end >.>
Not bad for a few days' work!
I also could have made another hundred or even two hundred just as easily, just by combining the buildings together! So if you make maps with these i'd love to see what combinations you come up with :D

I had quite few people ask if I would consider making forest assets after posting the mountain sketches last week and here we are!
I wanted to try making a bunch of different trees for this, including some odd choices that are not typically shown on maps, like giant mushrooms or giant flowers. The redwoods were also a strange experiment and I'm not sure if I like them due to just how big they are and the scale seems a little weird.

I was really looking forward to drawing the succubus and incubus for this pack and I'm super happy with how they came out! :D
I had a bit of a struggle getting the Black Pudding to look all sticky and tar like rather than just like a normal slime, but I think I got there in the end.
The next pack is still a fairly big one with around 36 tokens but from then onwards they get a little bit smaller :)
