This commission was so much fun - I think i say that every time, but it's true. Every commission requires I draw something or someone new, which allows me to explore new methods and improve a little bit with each one. I'm very happy with the pose of this piece, especially Ryuusei's arm coming toward the 'camera'. I'm obsessed with that hand. Just very happy with it.

It's wild to think of it being the 24th of this month when it feels like I'm still floating in the ambient time of June. But it's getting ever hotter where I am, and though the days are technically shorter, they feel long and dragging with the heat.

Commission : Bheldir

A commission for @sarxology of their D&D lad, Bheldir Vehrak. It's been years since I've tried to draw a dwarf, and I tripped up the proportions a bit for sure, but it's always going to be a learning experience! Versions here include with and without body hair. 

Commission - Yekotei Oronir

My last few commissions have been for private clients wishing to keep the artwork private, so I apologize for the silence on my end! 

This commission was for Tijs of their Xaela warrior, Yekotei. He was so much fun to draw! Slowly, but surely, I'll figure out how I best want to depict the Au'Ra scale patches.

June Piece - Uriancred [Thancred x Urianger]

When the poll landed on Uriancred for this month, I polled my pals for what kind of kink I should focus for the two. Thancred's visibly, perceptibly the less put-together of the two, and also seems like he'd benefit the most from being lulled into sub-space and handled there for awhile ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Urianger continues to be a. Big struggle to draw. But I'm very happy with Thancred, the ropes, and giving myself the opportunity to draw meta+scrotoplasty!

Finished up the core? base? of this month's piece just now - I'll get the variants done tomorrow or the day after and it should be up shortly after! 

June 2022 Work in Progress

While I struggle, once again, with Urianger's face, take this WIP of Thancred being his most indulgent, relaxed, sub-spacey self. Piece should be done and up within the next few days. I'd like to get started immediately on a Zenos pinup with some monstrous variants, but that'll have to wedge itself in alongside commissions.

Hades x Acai Bowl

First of all? Best name for a warrior of light. 

This pose was so challenging but so rewarding when it all came together. I was admittedly super daunted by this commission, and finding appropriate reference was a teensy bit of a challenge, but I'm very happy with how it all came together. I've never drawn Hades before and he was *such* a delight!

June Piece Pick!

There was a visible preference for pairings over pinups, so for awhile, that's what I'll be doing! While FFXIV is my predominant fandom at the moment and why, I know, a lot of you have come here, I'm open to drawing fan art from other properties. I'm going to include options on this poll that I think might be interesting, but please feel free to comment any ideas *you* might have. If you see something in the comments ...

May Pin-Up Preview (Urianger)

Working along slowly but surely on this Urianger pinup. Despite always drawing Estinien, Urianger is actually my favorite scion. He's been a frustrating, if not rewarding, challenge to try to capture. 

I have several variants planned, and I'd like to do one or two with some elaborate lingerie as well. All going well, this piece will go up before the month is up!

Watching Our Flag Means Death was a therapeutic, joyful experience. I want to draw so much fanart, but I can only wedge in one piece between each commission to keep from feeling too guilty. So taken by how soft Ed looked in this scene, strolling about in his grief and sadness and still smiling with the crew. Big fan. Love the energy. 

Taika Waititi has a challenging but rewarding face to draw, and I hope I captured his likeness well enough. Did add just...so much extra hair because...
