Stickers: Character Silhouette suggestions

Character Silhouettes won the sticker vote, so we're gonna figure out what to go with first.

Characters that currently have stripper art that could be used for this purpose are:

• Candy: Unicorn
• Rebecca: Squirrel
• Zoe: Cheetah
• Sasha: Black Cat

If you like any of them, let us know in the comments. If not, let us know which character you would want on a sticker.

It's been brought up that we should bring back the Apollos Coffee mug design. We can do that, or we can have suggestions, and then votes, but before all of that, What is the interest in starting with the Apollos Coffee mug design?

Feel free to leave as many sticker ideas as you have. You can do that in one post or multiple, it's up to you. However, if you have more than one suggestion, please make them easy to read.

We've finally been given the opportunity to offer merchandise through Patreon! Right now that's limited to Stickers, Posters and Mugs. We've already agreed with Furry Dakimakura not to sell the same art we use for them as we do through Patreon, so that means we're coming to YOU to let us know what you want to see as merchandise.

Support Tier Ideas

We've been thinking of adding shoutouts at the end of every stream to patrons in the Support tiers. We'd also like to offer those tiers access to an exclusive discord chat with both me and Tyvara. What with in-game mentions proving to be a pain we thought this would offer something more regular and more personal for those patrons. 

Are those some things that sounds interesting?

Flash Archive Bugs

This seems to be unclear but Flash is a broken archive destroyed by Adobe and their abandonment of support for Flash. I've posted about this before, but I get with some of the recent posts it's been pushed down the list so it's a refresher for those of you who already know.

We can't fix Flash bugs. The reason it took so long to release RLD was because of the attempt to fix existing bugs was proving to be a waste of time. The plan moving forward is to focus on all scenes moving into Unit...

Backend Billing on Patreon Might Affect You

It's come to my attention that there may be users that have subscribed but have not received links and downloads. Through some back and forth with Patreon, it's related to an update that happened on their backend.

Long story short: Patreon used to keep declined old bills in the system until you updated your info. This meant that when patrons updated payment info their bill was listed under the last month billed instead of the current month. This is no longer the case, but it is not a re...

I'm sure a lot of you know about Leilani's popular webcomic, "The Depths" by now. 

She's doing a good job writing so far, and Kino Jaggernov's art is getting rave reviews. They're going to hire a pencil artist starting in August and are trying to get some more Patreons on board to help defray costs and enjoy a lot of perks too.

RLD Status, Updates, Gold Content and Moving Forward

• Room Key Error Corrected. Room key should vanish from top bar when checking out of Motel Room.
• Jeanette's Error where she won't let the player start missionary SHOULD now be fixed. Make sure you have rubbers from the Clinic.         
• New Game Now starts with $250 instead of $100.

RLD Crissy Teaser

Moving further along with the Unity build. So here's a teaser for Crissy's Titjob.

There's still a bit more to go for RLD in Unity before it can go into Alpha testing. The flash archive of RLD has 2 more bugs left to fix. Unfortunately they are bugs that crash the game unless I fix them, so once I have that sorted out, then the flash archive will be available to Gold Members. They are very tricky bugs, and flash is a pain, so it's been fighting me every time I work on it.

Crissy's Transporter Accident

So I broke Crissy. 

Instead of merging the fixes from the last stream, I overrode the main Crissy graphics. In short, merging adds new attributes to a file while, override erases the old file and just hammers a new file into place. Thus I created this:

Surgery Update: Healing

The stitches have been out for a bit and I've regained much of my typing ability, It's good to stretch the muscles with work anyway.

Surgery Day: Subscription Delays

I'm getting my finger surgery today, so I won't be able to send out links until I'm not loopy on pain meds.

I've sent out the links for the day. My surgery is in the morning, but I'm calling all of Friday a wash and I'll be taking it easy over the weekend.

Upcoming Surgery

Hey all, Ty here, I'm having surgery on my pinkie this Friday the 12th. I'll be completely out of it that first day, and I'm not sure how the recovery will be, but I will keep folks up to date on when I'll be able to get to sending out links and such. I've already got my speech to text program ready to go, so I can use that while my hand is healing.

I'd appreciate some patience with my getting links sent out next weekend, because there will definitely be delays.

RLD Unity: Julie Sprite Rotation WIP

Here's a look at some of the work done for Julie's rotation. The focus is only on active characters for rotations. So that'll make it easy to tell who is interactive, 

RLD in Unity is NOT in testing at this time.

Alpha members can test the flash archive for RLD now while we're prepping it for Gold Member release.

Website Down: SSL Renewal Hiccup

Sorry all, the site is down as we wait for the SSL renewal to apply to the website. Not sure why everything went down, but we've contacted our web team to see if they can figure out a solution so this won't happen again in the future.

RLD Unity Jeanette Rotation WIP

Here's an update on Jeanette's rotation, now with the beginnings of clothes. There's still more to do to get her 'street ready'.

This was all worked on over yesterday's Sunday stream.

RLD: Crissy Rotation Test

Still finishing this up, there's a lot more to do before she's done, but this gives an idea of where she's at.

RLD in Unity is still a WIP. It is the main focus for game dev as the textures have been easier on the system and its smaller scale allows for less time in production before I can have a stable beta released.

RLD: Julie Rotation Test

Worked on this over a couple of streams. I would have posted the video sooner, but I didn't realize there was music in the background and a YouTube bot flagged it for violating copyright, but I was already in the middle of other work so it took me until now to get to re rendering the shot so I could upload.

The Future of Voting

Throughout the roller coaster of 2018 there was a significant loss of regular voting on our Patreon. There's a lot of reasons behind this, but it's really time we addressed this issue publicly.

RLD: Megan Rotation Test

Here is a better look at the 2.5D character rotation test for Megan. I released a snippet of this earlier in a Lens post, but now that it's down, it's time to make a legitimate post about it.

While yes, it is possible to add more rotations, more rotations require more work, as each rotation is another frame of art, and every character will need the same treatment.
