Quick update

I was planning to have a new video out this weekend but It mostly won't be out until Monday or Tuesday. Mr. Bean (my dog) has been having health problems. Something is very wrong with his back causing him a lot of pain. I was up with him all night last night and I just got back from the animal hospital a few hours ago. He's on pain medication, a muscle relaxer, and steroids now. He seems to be happier and more comfortable now that he's doped up. After the round of steroids there's another med...

After what seems like ages my voice is finally back to normal. It doesn't sound miserable anymore 🙂 I'll have a new mall video out this week. It's a mall many people have requested that I do an update on. I think my last video on it was over 4 years ago. Many people over the last few years have even told me it's a "dead mall" now. That's not what I found on my recent visit. It's a very interesting mall with a very interesting story.

Dead Mall Plants & Floppy Disk Photography

Here's my latest video. I've been wanting to try growing my own mall plant from a dead mall for a while and finally had a good opportunity to try it. I made a visit to Power Square Mall a day or 2 (I can't remember exactly) before it closed permanently. I was able to grab some clippings from one of the plants there. Chuck E. Cheese Pizza At Home

Here's this week's episode. It goes public tomorrow morning. This one's a little lighter in tone and a little different. When I saw Chuck E. Cheese was selling frozen pizzas at the grocery store I was very intrigued. Then I had the idea to compare it to a pizza from an actual Chuck E. Cheese location. Mark and I's expectations were low, but holy shit.

Spooky Archaeology: Spirit Halloween

It's officially the spookiest time of the year. Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology. I would have had this video done sooner however the store was blaring top 40 pop music which made it difficult to try and include the sounds from the animatronics. Unfortunately I had to cut out the background sound completely. I still think it's a fun video though and does a good job of representing a typical Spirit Halloween experience.
