I am pretty excited for this one—The Birdcage is a definite classic and certainly one of the most iconic queer comedies of all time. It was released in 1996, this film was a big moment for our community. Day 1. Will I regret this?

I kicked off my DIY retaining wall project using recycled concrete. I tracked down old sidewalk slabs, load them into my truck, and start placing them into the footer with cement. It’s the first step in a bigger project—and day one is officially in the books! Stay tuned for more updates as the wall takes shape.

We ended our night at the American Legion with a tour of their legendary facility.
