a very kind thank you to my three new patrons this week. i want to start doing a bit more on this page and have had some ideas.

i hit a brick wall with the original format. there were a lot of things i wasn't going to be able to do and so redrawing it makes the most sense. added a few new things too.

never could decide if this story wanted to be a cyberpunk kind of thing or post apocalyptic or southern gothic or some other dystopian thing. i think maybe i worry too much and should just let it be whatever it's going to be. 🤷‍♀️

MagicPoser Doodle

been wanting to use a 3D model poser to make custom references. MagicPoser works well with Procreate where i can import a 3D model directly or a 2D still. this will come in handy for more challenging actions.

writing, rewriting, adding panels, adding too much text, worrying, scrutinizing, then finally having this come to me in a dream sunday night, and throwing the first idea out completely and that's why i haven't updated since friday. 🙃

depending on whether i use indigo or sepia colors for the line art the palette changes completely. through trial and error i have found certain colors compliment the sepia or indigo better. in this case sepia seemed to work better.

now i know i said i was hoping for tomorrow morning but it looks more like Friday for the next Tiger Tea comic. 😅 in the meantime i took today's doodle and gave it a little more depth.
