I finally resurrected my OG pin up girl. I need to start a commission that involves her, but I'd forgotten how to draw her. Her face morphed in a billion different ways while I was drawing this, but I feel like I have the hang of her again, at least.

Chipped away at this sketch page over the last few days. Had a need to draw Vin & her boy, Ardaka.
Ardaka belongs to a friend of mine. If he bears a bit of resemblance to Sendak, that's because he started as Sendak, but as we filtered out of the fandom she fiddled with his design and turned him into an OC. Which works for me because hoooooooooly shit do I get twitchy about OC/canon ships even though I don't give a rat's ass if other people have them.

Slowly but surely I'm working on this one. I'd almost dropped it a couple of times, but I keep coming back to it. I need to add her jewelry and stuff back in, but I want to be sure I have a workable composition before I worry about those kinds of details.
It may eventually be a print, but for now, here's a preview of its current state:
Next up in the list of things I kind of want to do but will probably never make good on: Adoptables.
I don't know if this'll ever come to be because I don't know if I'm creative enough to sustain it. But in the meantime I give you a couple of dumb cats with weird proportions.
Not sure which I like better. And ultimately, I'd like to make up my own species, if that's even possible considering all the stuff that's already out there. Who knows. This is just something I had to get out...

I ventured out of the house to go to the Librarium Cafe for the first time since I moved to Hobart (I spent almost a year as a hermit). It’s an interesting joint. Part coffee shop, part game store. There’s a wall of board games in the back that I haven’t explored yet, but I’d feel like kind of a dumbass playing anything by myself.
