Next page will have to be skipped.  It shows Zandar learning to read, and paying for her lessons.  Lazlo says the nuns will allow Zandar to walk in the quad only if she takes vows, which he obviously does not want her to do yet.

The two skipped pages in the confessional involved Zandar asking Father Lazlo for protection from the Prostitutes' Guild.  She claimed that with the Guildmistress dead, this was the perfect opportunity for her to get away and join a convent.  She did a .. "special favor" for Lazlo in the confession booth, to convince him of her sincerity.

Dig that crazy Zip-a-Tone!

Actually it was done with a Photoshop filter.  I don't think Zip-a-Tone has been made since the early 1990s.  This reminds me that I haven't described my creation process.

I draw these pages on paper (often the back of random scrap sheets, which I impulsively collect) with a blue pencil, then ink them, letter them by hand & scan them.  I do most of the black fills and toning in the computer.

That string of numbers next to my signature in the first panel .. that's my wacky Metric Date notation.  People have asked, and I have explained, so FOR THE RECORD, here's how it works:  The year is divided up into 100 units of 3.65 days each.  I came up with a formula to convert from calendar time to metric time because a standard day has 1440 minutes and a metric unit has 5256 minutes.  The first four digits of the notation signify the year.  The next eight digits show...
