More flailing with the gadgets as I figure out ways to use them.

The chiptune arpeggio which forms the backbone of this experiment is generated by a Bastl BitRanger, which also provided a master clock pulse which I used to synchronize the drum loop coming from a Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator PO-12.  I learned that the PO will respond to sync from the BitRanger, but none of my other gear would recognize the sync signal coming from the PO.  So the drum sequence is slaved to the a...

Thought I was bluffing?

I did it.  I just blocked a spurious patron, mid-month, before billing day.  Someone appeared & took the new third slot right after I posted a sketch to the commission tier.  I noticed that they hadn't filled in the NAME field of their mailing address.  Maybe it's the same as their account name, but how many people actually do that?  So, there's two suspicious things already (the timing and the incomplete address) that make me think "scambot."
