Chapter 6 Update - 8/14

Hey fellas!  Almost complete with Chapter 6 - just one more scene to render (difficult one) and then some finishing touches to be done before beta.  I will update you in the coming days with the release plan of beta for the patrons and final release of Chapter 6.

Chapter 6 Update - 8/7

Howdy!

Made pretty dang good progress on Chapter 6.  This beach scene has a couple different "choices" which each require quite a few renders (as you will see).  My goal would be to release the beta for you guys next week if I can keep this pace.

Patron's Callout - Feedback

Hey guys.  I was thinking about putting a call out to my patrons at the end of the game or on beginning loading screen.  Wanted to get your guys feedback and thoughts on it because I see it in quite a few games and thought might be cool to add.

Chapter 6 Update - 7/30

Working hard on Chapter 6! 

As I said, script is done so just doing renders.  I am getting a bit out of my comfort zone and doing a beach scene and possibly a car scene so it's been a fun challenge and I think you guys are going to like it.  I would guesstimate I am maybe 25% done with renders (lot more needed because of two path/routes).

Chapter 6 Update - 7/25

Hi fellas!  Script is complete for Chapter 6 and started renders yesterday.  As discussed previously, there are now 2 "paths" in the game, so I will be making content for both at the same time.  Therefore, when you go to play the next Chapter you get content regardless of the path you go down.

v0.55 Beta (Paths)

As discussed in the previous post, I have been working on adding two distinct paths for June.  I have completed the structure, which involved adding a good amount of script changes, a new scene that will transition to a more clear "straight" path and some behind the scenes structuring.  The changes "might" cause save breaks as the pathing starts in Chapter 3.  For the time being I added a temporary "skip" from the beginning to right when the "path" splits for ease of testing.&n...

Paths

College Times is fairly kinetic as you are aware.  There's a little choice sprinkled in, but no real consequence from the choice minus avoiding stuff.  As I am learning more and more I feel confident making a structural change to the story.  What I am going to do is - have there be a "lesbian" path (which is kinda where we are at the moment) and have a "straight" path.  I am figuring out the logistics now, but this will at least make it feel like you pushed June in one or ...

Release Schedule Timing (Patreon Only Poll)

So, there's been some discussion about how often I release so I wanted to bring it to you, my Patrons for feedback.  Right now, I am trying to release once a month and have been fairly on that target.  The chapters aren't "long", but I feel they have enough content, that being said, I am sure people would like them a little longer (and possibly more polished, with a grammar check and a longer beta).  Most big VN's I see are around 3 month or so between releases, some of the big...

Post Chapter 5 Update

My dudes, hope you are all doing well.  I am getting back into the thick of it after releasing Chapter 5 this past week.  I have a basic structure of the next couple Chapters in mind so I feel good.

We hit 20 Patrons, which doesn't sound like a lot I guess, but its freaking awesome to me.  Makes the daydreaming of stories in my head and hour invested really feel like it means something to others.

Chapter 5 Update - 7/4

Well...I put in more hours then I care to say this weekend and I think I am complete with all renders.  I need to touch up dialogue, etc. but I think I can release to you guys fairly soon.  I will post it on Patreon for my Patrons to review first and give any beta feedback and then release for everyone else afterwards.  I think you will like this Chapter, it's pretty spicy.

I have put in A LOT of time into Chapter 5 so far this weekend.  The one scene I worked on today was over 130 renders (maybe I do too many renders? lol) and I have one other large render scene left.

I would hope to release in the next week if possible.

Chapter 5 Update - 6/20

Hey guys!  Been a rough couple weeks between vacation and real life work stuff and haven't been able to get a ton of progress on image renders.  The script is done and feels good, so that's a plus.  I have a work trip in 3 weeks, so my goal is to release before that, which should be no problem.  The scenes coming up are a fairly complicated and I want to get them right.

Chapter 5 Update - 6/5

Bit more progress made on script, but not complete just yet - should finish in the coming days.  I think it's coming out real good and sexy :)

Vacation over - time to get back to it.  Started working on script - hope to complete this week and be working on renders by next week.  Want to stay on track to a release within a month of the last.

As stated previously, I have vacation starting tomorrow - that being said I have already started working on the script for Chapter 5.  I am  so excited for this next Chapter because it's going to be the sexiest one yet.  I am so excited about it, I have no doubt I will likely be working on the script throughout my vacation :)

Chapter 4 and beyond

As stated previously - I am on vacation a few days from  now, so I wanted to get a Chapter out before then - otherwise it would  be a couple weeks - I want to continue my release plan of at least once  per month.

Chapter 4 Update - 5/19

I am done with the renders and script for Chapter 4 - need to do the final touches, music and check for errors before releasing it to my Patrons for beta testing - followed by public release days later.  My goal is by Saturday to have it in your hands for said beta testing.  Its slightly shorter then previous Chapters but like I said I have vacation coming up and didn't want to delay it till well after that.

Chapter 4 Progress - 5/9

Making pretty good progress - Completed script for entire Chapter 4 and have rendered about 1/4th.  For Patrons my goal is to release in less than 2 weeks from now and then to everyone else a few days later.

I plan on releasing a few Patron only renders over the next couple weeks, so look out for that.

Learning animation

This was the absolute first animation I did a few weeks back for Chapter 3.  It's not perfect but was my first attempt.  I am going to work on getting some in Chapter 4.

I got about 1/3rd of the script done already and already doing a few renders of the first scene (which is a pretty sexy scene).  I plan on sharing a few teaser renders throughout my progress to you guys the Patrons, so look out for that.

Looking ahead at Chapter 4

I want to get a head start on Chapter 4 because I have a small vacation at the end of May (May 24th to be exact), so my target is to release right before I go.  I would love for you're guys thoughts about things you would like to see going ahead - maybe not exactly in Chapter 4, but something that you would like to see happen to one of the characters in the future.  I have a general layout but if I see a good idea things can always evolve.  Please comment below with your though...

Chapter 3 Progress - 4/26

Nearing completion - 2 scenes left to render followed by some touch-ups and music.

Put A LOT of time in this chapter.  I've learned a lot and think I use it pretty good (especially the night scenes, which there are a few this time).  Makes me want to go back and revise the renders from chapter 1 (but I won't anytime soon)

I would guess completion for this weekend :)

Chapter 3 Progress 4/23

A lot of progress being made.  Script is complete and already about 1/4th the way through renders.  I do the most work on the weekend so hope to be well past halfway by end of Sunday.

Script is pretty much complete and I hope to start renders now.

A couple of the scenes are "hot" and make waiting through Chapter 1 and 2 worth it. :)

I feel real good about my progress .
