So I've been hard at work on a fairly big project lately, in addition to the new Pit Stop comic.. kind of hit on the idea of a Fashion Through The Ages folio, maybe even a calendar!
I just finished working on the 12th and final piece in the set, barring some background work, and I'm delighted enough with some of the new things I tried that I can't not share the pencils with everyone!
I'd started the project kind of intending to do them all with Jaye, but some period outfits just fit diff...

No idea why, but for some reason I felt compelled to bust out the ol' markers and give this a whack with them. I realized too late though, that the only shade of red I have is a bit way too dark to start with. Ah well, all things considered I'm pleased with it. It even cut out well. No idea why I did that either :D

So I got a new sketchbook, been making me wanna put stuff in it. Trouble is, the pages don't come out, so I have to take pictures of sketches that may get some further touchups before scanning. Unfortunately, while my LED desk lamp is plenty bright, the camera also picks up the wavelength and gives us these lovely scan lines.
Don't think Jaye is any position to be worried about the image particulars though.. she's too busy chained to a wall with tentacles coming out of a hole in it.
