As many of you know, my older files were not designed for easy painting if you own a Prusa or Bambu machine that allows for AMS and colored prints.   

I have been slowly working on getting these completed and making sure they print correctly.

Flexi Factory Bonus: Viking Gnome Princess

Thank you all for coming back this month to snag the second of the Viking Pair.

I have also added a short broadsword and hope to add more as time allows down the line.

She was fun to color, but I did many test prints in various multicolor PLA and had to come back to my old favorite TTYT3D Fast changing Rainbow for the main image. It photographs and prints beautifully.

Flexi Factory Owl: Update 6/20/2023

Hi,

Just a small change.

* I upped the Resolution on the owl head. This fix is only noticeable if you print it really big (that's how I noticed it).

* I also updated the .3mfs with the new head, and separated the eyebrows as a different color (as seen in the picture).

I also want to share the filaments I used for this print since I love love love how the multicolor print turned out.

Painted 3mf Bambu and Prusa Files!!!

Y'all it has been a week and I am pushing through to get out the Early Release this weekend (all my fingers and toes crossed.)

I usually post a sneak peek, but I have some new mechanisms for this one and I want to make sure everything is as close to perfect as I can get for printability. It's Owl or nothing...am I right ;)

I went ahead and painted these for y'all to have fun with and also attaching the STL for anyone who hasn't printed these characters.

Bonus Time! Viking Gnome

Really wanted to get this Bonus out before the US holiday weekend.

Final Update: Download New Files Here!!!

I have been working on printability and made a few small tweaks, after wrapping up many test prints and troubleshooting with a couple folks. There was a bit of a steep overhang on the neck that appeared on some prints. These files should do the trick!

To keep it simple for your file storage, I labeled everything update and deleted files from previous posts.

So many files, I did keep them zipped...but added the wings to the Alicorn and Pegasus main stls files.

Ok folks...#teamteeth or #teamnoteeth??? You now have options for 4 different models. 

I got several requests for these. I went ahead and added the ALICORN, plus all models without the delightful toothy grin. Had to keep it smiling though, because I have never met a mean horse :)

Personally I still prefer the cheesy grin version. I strive to have all my models overflowing with personality.  With this model I was going for the prince who takes himself seriously but no one...

Flexi Factory Pegasus, Unicorn and Horse!

I have had hundreds of requests for these models, and finally able to provide all three for you awesome folks! Flexi and standing, no supports of course. And for the Pegasus, I decided to go with a very snug fit, but not attached for more customizable options.  

Working on making mini's (50%), so I may have some upgrades down the road for optimum printability. Shouldn't need a split version to scale up, but I know some of you love to make them huge!!! And I have the Bambu working ...

I may have made this teaser a little too easy... But I promise the end result still has a few surprises.  Better get those frogs printed, because this one is going to be magical scaled up, has some fun color/design variations, and I think your machines are going to be very busy.

Big Thank you to all who voted on this special character! Had lots of questions about making accessories and removable pieces...but for printability and to avoid little tiny parts that would be fragile, I opted for a true Print-in-Place model.

I beefed up the joints, changed the angle and shape of the head, changed the eyes and added several details including gloves, a pack, knife, watch, and binoculars.

Sneak Peak!!! Special Ops Frog

If you're a frog lover...this one is going to be fun to add to your collection.

I gave this character some extra attitude, and some strategically placed gear that will help with printability (and clearly aid in a successful mission.)

This render shows some fun color options, but I am also testing printing with some stellar new-to-me colors:  Eryone Yellow/Green Silk PLA, and TTYT3D yellow/green Multicolor silk. Should have all the kinks worked out shortly and ready for y'a...

Bonus: Flexi Factory Knights Accessory Pack...and Stand!

Happy Frayay...as my nine year old likes to say! Wanted to get these out for you folks that might be doing shows this weekend. The solid colors print pretty quick.  

I added a stand and a bunch of different accessories. They work for both the Public Release: Knight and the Exclusive: Skeleton Knight!

Flexi Factory Teddy Bears and Pinwheel

UPDATE: First off...I do not recommend going 50%, 60% is better. Printed on the  Bambu in 3 colors, .16 layer height, took almost 12 hours.  

- Joints are good
- One of the pinwheels broke
- There is definitely a loss of detail.

And this was a hard print, with major color opposition. So there was some bleeding, not a ton though.  Overall impressed that it made it through with very little issues!

Special Ops Frog

We still have quite a bit of time for the vote, but I wanted to show y'all the inspiration for the model.

When I worked at IGT, we had a little lunch battle going as motivation to keep our drawing skills sharp. We had to submit a drawing each week or buy lunch for the group. This character has a lot of personality, so it is one of my favorites and I think it would be a pretty fun model to make.  

Truly, I am excited about all three...and I wouldn't be surprised if they all...

Updated Cat planter for LARGE prints

I added a new file for folks that want to make it really big!

You can print the tray and tail separately and glue together (I suggest super glue for PLA).

Flexi Factory Shark

For those of you who want to print a massive shark!

The big one in the picture is 220% (printed on the Bambu) the little ones 50% and 60%

I don't suggest using the curved if you're printing small because the tolerances are a little tighter.

Flexi Shark Update

Small update.

After printing a little shark, I noticed that the fins were a little stuck and I had to work them free.

This update fixes that. I also updated the multicolor files.
