Exploring the SCP Foundation: Foundation Made SCPs

That break next week is definitely going to be appreciated haha. I did not actually intend for this one to be 44 minutes long, but things just sort of got away from me. Some good SCPs in this one though.

The Story of Final Fantasy XIV: Episode Four - The Masked Man

I know, this is the shortest one yet, but that's partly due to there being 0 voiced cutscenes in this section of the game. There really aren't many voiced cutscenes at all in A Realm Reborn. The length is also due to me trying to keep each episode somewhat contained as far as the storylines go, with the next section going into Titan, which I didn't want to mix in.

Narrowly winning out this week is Foundation-Made SCPs, so we'll take a look at what the Foundation has cooked up over the years. In the interest of taking a break, I normally do an SCP reading video of some kind, ideally something involving Lord Blackwood. The number of tales on the scpwiki that are good and lengthy enough to do, without involving character voices, has pretty much dropped to 0 for me however. I've decided to branch out a little this time then, so the following video will be ...

Exploring the SCP Foundation: More Daevite SCPs

Despite the length, I only covered three SCPs in this video. A couple of them managed to be pretty lengthy and probably could've gotten their own videos. Most of the SCPs tagged with daevite though just sort of name drop them rather than being focused around them.

More Daevite SCPs it is, which should be pretty interesting, as we haven't really looked at the Daevites much in a while. I'll also be releasing an audiobook this week, something I recorded for a friend awhile back that I'm just going to put out on the channel.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-1461 - House of the Worm

I tried a little bit of voice acting for this one. Let me know if you  think it's terrible and I'll just redo it quick normally before release.

*Reuploaded due to an audio issue. Thanks Michael!

The Story of Final Fantasy XIV : Episode Three - The Trouble With Sylphs

This is a shorter episode, even with a bunch of padding from voiced cutscenes, but I struggled with deciding exactly where to end it. I could've gone further and covered the Little Ala Mhigo stuff, but I think just handling all of the sylph stuff in one go is fine.

House of the Worm it is. This poll will determine the video for the 15th. I'll also be releasing the third episode of The Story of FFXIV this week.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-2111 - If You Can Read This....

Antimemetics means fractal art for days. I tried something a little different with the microphone audio this time, let me know what you think.

SCP-2111 is our SCP of the week. This poll will determine the video for the 8th.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: Cat SCPS

Love videos like this, where the images are so easy to gather. I also couldn't resist throwing in another jab there at the end.

The Story of Final Fantasy XIV: Episode Two - The Primal Threat

Hell of a lot of work going into these, but I'm enjoying it. This episode introduced dungeons, three of them in fact. Originally I was going to have a short montage for each one with some action music in the foreground, but I decided against it for a few reasons. It's possible I'll bring it in down the line, but I'm kind of happy with what I have here. In the future I'll probably spend a bit more time explaining what's going on in each dungeon, but most of the early ones are not that importan...

As mentioned, Cat SCPs will finally get their chance to shine this week. This poll will determine the video for the 1st of February. I'll also be releasing the second episode in my FFXIV series this week.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-3785 - Jasper's Hill

I thought this one would be really easy to find images for, but I spent so much time desperately searching for an image of like a bonfire on top of a distant hill at night, and just couldn't find a good one. Oh well.

Alrighty, another djkaktus one this week with SCP-3785. Not an especially grandiose one but fun nonetheless. As I mentioned, this marks one year since I added Cat SCPs to the polls, so I'll be doing that one next week. Musical SCPs will be the next to expire, at the end of March, FYI.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-4011 - History is Written by the Victors

Yet another entry from the SCP-4000 contest where the theme was history. Half of my channel at this point is pretty much just SCP contest entries, not that I'm complaining.

The Story of Final Fantasy XIV: Episode One - Welcome to Eorzea

Well, here it is. I don't think it turned out quite as well as I'd like, but videos rarely do. Part of the problem here is that FFXIV starts off rather slowly, and really doesn't get to the incredible story bits for like 30 hours. There isn't much I can do about that other than hopefully entice people to continue watching. Music was another issue I'm not sure about, as I'd like to use Final Fantasy music, but copyright on those is rough, so we're going to see how that goes. I should probably ...

Pretty clear victory this week for SCP-4011. This poll will determine the video for the 18th. Just another heads up that there won't be a poll next week, unless Cat SCPs wins this week. I'll also be releasing the first video in my Story of FFXIV series this week.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: The Chuch of the Second Hytoth

Yeah, it's not really of a length indicative of two weeks of work, but really I just had a little bit to finish. Most of this week I pretty much took a break and worked on the first FFXIV video.

Alright, so as I said, I'll be finishing the Church of the Second Hytoth Video this week. This poll will determine the video for the 11th. We're also only a couple weeks away from me automatically doing Cat SCPs, just as a heads up. I'll also be announcing my next side series this week.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: Lord Blackwood Presents: A True Account of the Events of 1666

So, I've never done this before, but I had to call an audible. I was working on the Second Hytoth video this week, but with all the Christmas craziness going on, in the end I didn't feel like it was ready to ship out yet. Fortunately I had already been working on this one in my spare time, so I was able to just finish this up instead. The Second Hytoth video will be finished next week, and hopefully much better for it with the extra time.

At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft (Audiobook)

I don't know if this will be the longest audiobook I ever upload, but it's up there. I again decided not to use background music, as looking around it seems to be a somewhat unpopular choice for audiobooks. I'm curious what my viewers think though.

Alrighty, Church of the Second Hytoth will be the final video I put out for 2020. I hate to take away the polls again so soon, but the other day, Smapti of the SCP wiki emailed me informing me that they have written a new Lord Blackwood tale. I love Blackwood and I could use a break, so the following video will just be a reading of that. I'll also be releasing an audiobook of At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft this week.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-001 - Past and Future - Part Two

Whew, and it's not even the longest video I'll be releasing this month. Admittedly I could've done a better job in dividing these two parts, but what's done is done.

As mentioned, I'll be finishing up the Past and Future proposal this week. This poll will determine the video for the 28th.

SCP-001: Past and Future - Part One will be what I'm working on this week, and rather than going through the unnecessary effort of posting another poll, I'll just go ahead and say that the following video will be Part Two to finish it off.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-4760 - An Eye For An Eye

Another djkaktus piece, although this one isn't very highly rated for whatever reason. I suppose it's not absurdly unique, but overall it's an interesting little story.

Exploring Dungeons and Dragons: Sigil, The City of Doors

So this is the final D&D video that I'll be releasing for now. It was a fun series that I hoped people enjoyed, but I'd like to stick to one side series per year to keep things interesting.

SCP-4760 is our choice this week, a little bit of cold war fun, so I can exclusively use footage from the new Call of Duty. This poll will determine the video for the 14th of December. I'll also be releasing the final D&D video this week on Sigil.
