I have to say that drawing him is a lot of fun. I thought I'd struggle more with his design because I had a difuse image in my head when I was writing the story, but I managed to give it the shape I wanted quite easily o.ob

Also, yes, the boss is the kind of person who uses working hours and employees for his personal matters ( ' - ' ) I know of cases like that ...

Izumi + Demian outfits for chapter 4.

Here are the boys for next chapter! I'd like to reuse their outfits a bit more from past seasons to give a sense of real wardrobe, so I made Demian wear his UK jacket (he wore it on season 1, but I don't think I used it for season 2 at all? Can't remember). The fact he's not wearing shoes means his appearance will be at home.

This is the end of chapter 3... kinda! But not really. How so? because June and July's R18 scenes will be in comic format showing what happens when Izumi and Demian get home. It'll be 4 pages each instead of the usual 3 for extra scenes, so I will count them as "normal" updates.

Regarding this month's R18 scene, I usually post them between the 25th and the end of the month, but I don't want to start next chapter before posting the first part of this extra story because it happens right ...

There are 6 pages left for the current chapter. Usually I make updates with 4 pages, so here I have two choices:

A) Make two shorter updates (3 pages), but take less time to post them (5 days for each update).

B) Make a longer update (all 6 pages), but take more time to post them (10 days).

Kei has every right to be mad, but she isn't. She internalized her responsibility so much that in her head there was no other possible choice, so she can't blame anyone. On the one hand, good for her because it allows her to have a better relationship with her mother and it keeps her from lamenting over things that cannot be changed, but on the other hand, not so good for her because her childhood was taken from her and she just accepted it.

I think Hana took very bad decisions when it comes to her children, but I also think she wasn't given an easy situation to begin with. Kei wasn't given the chance to be a child, and that's probably why nowadays she's such a responsible woman to the point of being unhealthy, which is something Sara's trying to help her overcome (if you remember the first time Sara was introduced, it was during a fight with Kei because Kei didn't share any of her problems with her. She expected to eat it all up...

Izumi and Sara's dad has a heavy undiagnosed ADHD disorder, and Hana has done what she could all her life to take care of her family. Did she make the right choices? Was there any right choice at all? I guess that depends on who you ask. For me it's a very gray area. But I really enjoyed writing this chapter to explore what it was like for Izumi and Kei to grow up within such a family and how the lack of any parent figure influenced them to become who they are today.

Thinking of them was strange because when I thought of Izumi, the only family that was "present" for him was Kei, so where were their parents? Izumi was relieved for 10 seconds only to panic again ( ' - ' ) Some people do like working in a team, but Izumi is definitely not that person. He doesn't like dealing with people and he doesn't like going to the office, so this new situation is a true nightmare for him. Also, his games are very personal to him, so having other people involved (aside from Demian as the musician) is a huge NO THANK YOU for him.
