I hate how "artist organisations" look down on you if you say your an illustrator or cartoonist or even worse, you draw comics. They immediatly say "oh you can teach little children" but if you draw shitty boats or really bad giarffes, well then to them, your a serious real artist and you can teach adults

lol i applied for 2 artist tutor jobs 3 times (they never once asked if you can actually draw or to show your art) both times i NEVER got a callback, rejection and i dont belive there were any interviews and BOTH times this art college hired people who cant actually draw (i know because i spied on them on instagram). No wonder these places are fucked up
