Three Billboards character studies 🦌

It's been some time since I watched "Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri"  and the rewatch I did before finishing these studies gave me a lot of emotions (again) it's such a great film. Great cast and characters which I would honestly love to draw more often but Red Welby killed me dead. I do not understand the man's face .... might have to give him another try after I have calmed down 🫠

Transcartoonology WIPs

Inks and thumbnails of the short comic I did for the Transcartoonology last month. This was so fun to do and a project I've been meaning to tackle for a long time. Watching Talespin as a kid I could never really figure out Wildcat's gender. The long hair, high voice (in the german dub especially) and overall soft temper just didn't fit with how male characters were portrayed in afternoon cartoons. Same with female characters. phew, here they are!!! Bill and Frank were so soft I couldn't believe my eyes when I watched their episode. I already saw the entire thing as gifs but paired with the music and all, just chef kisses ... and a lot of tears 🥲

Thanks a lot for this request! I loved drawing Wednesday and Enid SO MUCH!! The costume departement of the show went all out and created such great and opposite looks and shapes for these two! I just want to scream!!! 😭
