I've been wanting to try this for a while, a pic where the viewpoint character is macro sized. It worked ok but I think I can do better so I'll come back to this concept another time.

Ran into some rendering problems again with this one. They aren't obvious but it's a little more pressure to try a different workflow. I've been putting it off because there's a lot of setup and a steep learning curve but it'll increase the overall quality of my stuff significantly and mean less problems like this.

I've also tried something different with the camera. Usually I go for a standing viewing position but this pic is designed to be viewed laying down. Let me know if you think it works or if you have any problems with it!

This is just a screenshot of a short animation I'm working on. Animations are a problem right now, my current workflow means a ten second animation could take over four days to render. There's a way I can get that down to just a few hours but unfortunately it means having some really unpleasant visual artifacts, so I'm going to work on finding a balance between those two extremes! Could be a while before I upload the animated version so don't hold your breath...

Another one with a little bit of story. Had some technical issues here, particle effects don't render when I use a full quality projection. Came up with a work around but I'm not convinced it worked... have to experiment some more...

Trying something a little different here where I've used a kind of speech bubble to put story directly into the image. Doesn't look much like a speech bubble but it'll do the job! I've also done a version without the speech bubble, just in case.
