Theism Logic

Atheists are often accused of not having a reason to value life, but the opposite is so, making this accusation one of theism's biggest inaccuracies. This belief is predicated on placing more value on the future than the present, because not existing in the future is often conflated with "amounting to nothing" or "not mattering" which is devaluing the present. In fact, having a finite life makes your time MORE valuable.

Trying something different

I went for a serious and realistic tone in my last animation, but for this one I want to do the exact opposite. I'm experimenting with styles. This one will have a comedic tone. It will require many characters who will all need to look the same (the simple cartoony style lends itself to this), because it's about how culture reacts to new differences that eventually become old norms and traditions. I'm trying something a bit different. It's a little allegory I wrote, and though it can apply to many things, I'm sure you can see how it relates to current times. Despite its relatively short plot, the intricacies of the visuals took a lot of work. I hope you like it. Please let me know what you think. Special Animated Short Incoming

I delayed the video I intended to do next because inspiration struck and I wrote a short allegory I would really like to make into an animation. The moral of the story is pretty much universal and doesn't have to apply to the religion debate, but I suppose it could. I'm trying for an ominous atmosphere. A lot of it takes place in the woods, so I've been building a forest. That's such a fun aspect of this. I build the world, like a set director, and then decide where to place the cameras.

A Difficult Project

Writing has been difficult this month. I don’t want to put out material when I’m uninspired, because it will show in the work. That’s the main reason I haven’t yet posted an update this month.
