mid-July update

Hey all, just a quick status update. We're both pounding away on the keys as much as we have time to. Unfortunately this month we're both quite swamped with work/moving but we have gotten a bunch of story outlining done and about 4,000 words written. Still quite shy of our goal but we're confident our writing will pick up once things settle down since we've got a ton of ideas outlined and ready.

Reward Ideas & Suggestion Request

So as we've said we're trying to keep this a 'donate because you love our work' operation and not 'pay $XX to see Y' . We've thankfully had very few people pledge and then drop out before the months end, so as long as that keeps up we'll keep posting the stories, and when it comes time the artwork, for all Patrons and not have to switch to using the reward system to send stuff out.

Billing Change & Feedback

So first off myself and Merkava are quite happy with the good start we seem to be off to with Patrons. However having become more familiar with how Patreon billing works we've decided to, for the time being, switch to a per-month rather than per-paid-post billing system. Why? Because the way Patreon works it only bills people who were current patrons at the time you put up a new paid post, and any new patrons are only billed after the NEXT paid post.
