Hi Everyone, it's almost my birthday! Haha. March is well over and here's your update on what we created in March and what is coming ahead.
The big part of March of course was Kyde coming home from her winter gig in Tohoku as a "tour guide." It went so well it looks like she will be back up there next winter.

Hey guys, i totally forgot I had made a bunch of highlights from videos a while back, so if i can keep focus i'm going to post them here and there. If you have seen all of our videos there is no "new" content here, it's just little bits that have "stand alone" potential ...
I have been...not struggling....but kind of mystified on how to share photography online.
The situation is I take a lot of photos every month, hundreds of shots. Of those maybe 20% are what I'd call "passable" but if I posted every one of those people would just eventually tune out from content overload. It's difficult to objectively trim things back but I'm going to start working on that skill a bit here.

Here's a video we filmed recently up in Iwate in northern Japan!
Kyde was working as a tour...logistics...guide kinda-person and had a couple days off so I took the speedy train up to join her and do some winter sports stuffs!

Scooty and I spent a few days just outside of a huge beautiful national park smack dab in the middle of Hokkaido. Here's a day exploring one little corner of it! More soon very soon!

I feel like I say this every month, but wow was January busy. We started off the start of the year doing some small DIY projects around the house as we are working towards getting things more and more cozy. Then came the big one: Kyde had surgery. She was in the hospital for six (i think?) nights after they removed half of her thyroid. Everything went very well, but as you can imagine it was a tad stressful. In this episode I head out of the southern bit of Hokkaido and head for the middle! I laid down a lot of miles over a couple days and got a bit wet, but made it to a huge national park we will be exploring in the next installment!

Kyde and I went out on a "first scoot" last month once my license allowed passengers. I took her up around a really fun loop in Western Tokyo that I have done a few times on my own. It's so much more fun with her!
Side note, we got two new cameras (pocket3 & action4) the day before filming this so a lot of learning was happening, haha. Enjoy!
