Japan has had the borders closed to international travel for over a month. As the stay-at-home request is lifted in Tokyo it's a unique opportunity to see the city with only residents, especially areas usually flooded with tourists.

We spent a day on Kauai's North Shore hiking part of the Kalalau Trail and checking out beautiful Hanalei Bay. Kauai is nice.

We took our rental car where we probably shouldn't have and got distracted from a hunt for waterfalls by a boat trip all to see one of the Earth's most beautiful places: The Nā Pali Coast.
