Quick update moving forward

Good news and bad news (don't worry, good news easily outweighs the bad imo). Bad news out of the way first, I've got a shitload of work on this coming week so I'll only be able to do the minimum required updates.

Good news is we've seen a lot of growth in the channel this month and if it keeps up I'll be able to upgrade my PC in about 6 weeks. Thank you very much to every one of you, I couldn't do it without you! This will be a MASSIVE help, especially for animations for the VN because...

Rough test animation 2

I put this together in a couple of hours, I only worked on the major movements and body parts, I haven't denoised, colour corrected etc and each frame was only rendered at 300 iterations but I wanted to show a rough test animation so people know what direction they're heading in. Final renders and animations will be better of course :)

Quick update plus retouched older image

Rendering 4 more pages of "Rapper's Bangbus" over night, thought I'd touch up an older image for fun so I might as well share it! Still working on the VN animation I mentioned in my previous VN post, hopefully that will be ready to show by the end of this week or by next week.

So last time I put this to everyone we only had 15 or so Patrons, most wanted a Discord but wanted to wait until there were more supporters so it wouldn't be a ghost town in there lol. We're getting close to breaking the magic "50" level but I have no idea if this is enough to start a discord now or if we should still be waiting until closer to 100? You guys as a collective are more experienced with this kind of thing so I'll be guided by your choice, poll time, you know the drill...

Quick update

Things aren't getting any easier just yet where I am but I'll have the next "Rapper's Bangbus" update out tomorrow. I'm going to try get closer to an earlier release next week so I can try keep on top of the comic as I haven't even had any time to work on the VN/game these last couple of weeks. From what I'm told at work I should be getting back to a more normal routine soon which is good news.

Every now and then I need to step outside my usual themes, even if its just a little bit different. 2 reasons;

1) it keeps me from burning out from rendering the same themes over and over again,

2) it helps me learn new techniques that I can then use in my regular themes to improve my overall rendering.

Ok, I have a day off this weekend (woohoo lol) so I'm going to try get as much done as I can and get this week's update out, most of the update is done, I just need to render a little more and put it all together, what a bullshit week (I mean the shit I've had to do at work, I'm not claiming covid or anything that's been happening in the world is bullshit) but hopefully I'll have more free time next week for next week's update too. Here's a couple random images to help with the wait.

Quick update

Unfortunately due to all this Covid19 panic and the industry I work in, it means we're getting smashed with extra work which is leaving me next to no time to render anything this week. Rapper's Bangbus will be updated but its going to come in a couple of days instead. Nothing I can do about it unfortunately, this has thrown my particular industry into overdrive, which is better than being laid off, but if I don't do the work required for my job then I lose my income, so that has to come first...
