Bonus Page Preview + Photoshop Brush Recs

This is a preview panel of chapter 3, page 84 - a "before" shot with just base shading and an after shot with finished art.  I discovered that Kyle's Real Watercolor Photoshop brush set is really fun for doing water damage and grungy textures.  Aside from basic light and shading, all the painted textures in this panel were done with a few brushes from the watercolor set:

Concept Art - Bardia's Motorcycle

I procrastinated on this design until just about the last minute...  I didn't have time to do tire treads.  It's quicker to draw them in for now...

In contrast with East Sphere bikes, the West Sphere uses a bit more of a sport bike style.  Thanks to Flik for sending me some great motorcycle reference a super long time ago that took me this long to use!

Pogo needs to steal this bike from Bardia because it matches him. (if only he could be trusted to steer such a vehicle...

Mightier than the Sword - Mobile Wallpaper Pack

I posted this on the Smackjeeves mirror back when the Patreon integration beta was rolled out, but I just realized I forgot to post it here!  So, here you go!

Since this image is vertical, I did it as a mobile wallpaper.  The pack includes multiple sizes, but usually you'll get a crisper image if you go with a larger size.  Both the text and no-text versions come in all sizes.  Click on the attachment to download the pack!

Pogo's Letters Sent + August/September Rewards

Pogo's July/August letters have been sent out to all processed patrons, so you should be getting them soon!  Email letters have also been sent for those of you who get them digitally, so if you didn't receive it, let me know.  I'm still a little behind after all my travel/illness problems in July, but I managed to turn these rewards around in only 20 days, so that's something!  If I can do the same this month, I'll be back on schedule.

New Milestone Goal and Page Size Survey

I know you guys all get to enjoy huge size comic pages here, but I'd love to be able to bring larger pages to DOTU's home site too.  We still have the upcoming milestone goal of 2 bonus pages per month at $1250, but I've added a new $1000 goal that includes a site redesign with bigger pages.

Switched to Upfront Payment for New Patrons

Hi all!  I'm just letting you guys know that I've decided to switch to upfront payment for my Patreon campaign, since I ended up having another problem with pledging and ditching.  Just one person and a low amount, no big deal, but it's not something I want to keep worrying about.

Shading Process Video (Spoilers: 8/1/16 Page)

I was a little too shaky today with my brain goo to do a livestream, so I decided to share a 10x speed recording of me shading a panel from Monday's page.  There's also a voiceover where I give a summary of what I'm doing.  I'll probably share more like this in the future.

Hey all, I just wanted to give you an update on June's reward schedule because it's nearly the end of the month and I'm obviously running late!

The June $10.01 drawing will still be posted tonight or tomorrow as expected. 

I had to urgently change the gallery password, which I will give out by PM when the new pic goes up.
