I told myself that I was gonna keep this one easy and simple but I drew one pose and I just had to draw the followup because Bo is a lil troublemaker that intentionally pisses off her werehyena gf cus she likes it rough 😊 this so far has been super fun and refreshing from my usual stuff! Hopefully I'll have more time to do more original stuff in the future and maybe introduce her non-beast form.

Well this one was quite an undertaking but boy I'm so pleased I went through with it!
Been trying to move away from cell shading and more towards stylised planes and this is the first piece I feel like I'm beginning to get it! As always, at least one face gave me some grief but I feel like I managed to almost immediately nail my internal image of Yen!

Took a few steps back with this one in terms of the lighting technique. Rather than using gradient maps to colour, I think I got better results with just lighting an already coloured piece 😊
And the use of models was a godsend in terms of finding multiple angles for the same pose!

Here's another lil update on the Sara/Itto piece! Feel like made some good progress despite some delays, but I feel like I've really been able to depict the dynamic I was going for :)

Gonna be honest, not going to be using this method of colouring (applying gradient maps to greyscale shading) ever again. It was way more work than I expected and caused a lot of pain later down the line while I was trying to apply blushes. It was worth the experiment, and I'm still happy with the results, but not doing it again 😓
Apart from that, really had a good time with this one! I feel like I got in a little bit for everyone and man I love Tae so this was a win win for all!

Getting along quite nicely with the Tae piece, really happy with how it's looking so far. Going to be trying to keep the lighting simple so as to not overload the piece, it's already busy enough as is.

Just a little update on this piece - didn't want to give away too much this close to the end 😏
Trying out a new method for rendering lighting where I do the whole thing in B&W so that I can get a more dynamic lighting while also being able to keep my values readable and consistent.
Might be dropping the SFW and NSFW versions separately as I finish them but I'll see where this process takes me!
