4. Inking. I use a variable-width inking brush for the character and a constant-width brush for hard things on vector layers. I use lots of different layers for different parts, which makes it easie...

Reception

"You three need to stop gossiping about my new secretary and get to work, like me. I spend every day at my desk, working long, hard hours, day after day. Sometimes I wonder why I keep coming here because I swear this job is going to suck me dry. But I give it my all and you should, too!"

Polishing the Collection - Process

1. I started with a simple thumbnail just to get the idea and basic layout down.

2. Next, I do a more formal layout sketch, working out the poses and proportions and using perspective rulers for the boxes.

3. Final sketch. I sketch the characters, hair, outfits, and props in full detail. For the picture frames, I designed the frames flat and then used distortion to match them to the perspective.

I know, I know. It's so awkward to be seen wearing a Christmas outfit now that Christmas is over. Don't worry about it too much. Worst case - you'll find the keys in the spring.

Winter is a great time for hand warmers. You can stick them in your gloves, your boots, all over your clothing, and stay warm and toasty in the snow for hours and hours and hours. And hopefully, your second girlfriend will show up by then.
