Big Boned - Process

1. I start with a basic sketch to work out the layout, pose, and proportions.

2. Final sketch. I sketch the characters in full detail.

3. Inking. I use a variable-width inking brush for the character and a constant-width brush for hard things on vector layers. I use lots of different layers for different parts, which makes it easier to overdraw and erase as needed. I also went ahead and inked the shape for the eyelashes because the brush stablization in Manga Studio makes it a lot easier...

I wanted to do one of those sexy-sitting-on-a-pumpkin pin-up pictures but someone got clumsy.

Groom of Frankenstein

Isn't that thoughtful! She made Frankenstein a friend so she won't have to be alone.

Can't Decide - Process

1. In the early rough sketch, I decide on the general shape of the hairstyle I want. I often try multiple styles before choosing one.

2. For sausage curls, the first step is laying the general path of each curl as a whole. I don't worry about the actual curls, just the path along which each whole sausage hangs.

3. Next, I go in add a few special, key curls as cylinder shapes. The idea here is to ensure that I have just a few particularly irregular places on the curls, places where the cu...

Can't Decide

I mean, both spells use practically the same ingredients. It would be a shame not to at least consider it, right?

This work was a collaboration with my partner Jade Gordon who did all of the coloring and shading.

Twinsies: Explorers

"Last year, you complained that your costume was too restrictive and left your mouth too vulnerable. Once you came up for air, I mean. Well, I listened and, this year, I made sure that that won't be a problem. And since I don't see you pouting or hear you complaining, I just know you're going to have plenty of fun this year."

Succubus Trainee

It may be your first call as a trainee but don't be so nervous. The underworld doesn't usually assign a male demon to be a succubus but with a butt that beautiful, you're sure to be a natural.
