RTP & Acting Lessons

Hi all

Just wanted to inform you all of a change being made to one of the characters of RTP.  

Some of you know that originally, Rena, Jensen's niece, was a crossover character used in a collaboration with DocPinkCakes.  
Our collaboration was always based on the understanding that he might wish to remove it prior to a Steam release.  I will be doing the same after Episode One is done.
Since I want to use Jensen's niece in the story beyond the term of the col...

This update I am not going to say how many lines or how many renders, just... we'll I am busy with Chapter 6 and the renders are taking longer to render as I believe the quality of each render will be better...

Chapter 6 update

So I've been rendering and yes 58 images do not sound like much has happened. Trust me things are a happen-in'.

We are on track with Chapter 6 and I think it's going to deliver some big surprises. Good or bad that you will have to wait and see.

Chapter 6 Underway...

Fresh off the production line.. so no post work done on it yet....

As it would appear to some, it seems I like to confuse people more than anything in RTP so here's some more confusion. Who is this dude and what is going on in that house?

Chapter 5 will be released later today/tonight for 10$ Tier patrons and few days later the 5$ Tier patrons.

I have three Alpha testers scrutinizing current Chapter 5.... So all depends on their feelings regarding the update.

We enter into final stages... but seriously why is the door open?

Ok I hustled a bit more and we are 95% with production. Alpha testing I would like to happen this weekend or earlier even. Then Beta and then release.

As I have indicated this Chapter will be shorter than normal as it's important in a different way than the previous one's.

We will also finally "meet" Adam...

Chapter 5 Update...

I would venture we are now at 85% for Chapter 5.

The last month for me personally been difficult. Dealing with some tough personal issue's which have had an effect on the development speed. So BIG apology for that.

We are... we'll getting there.

So here's where we are at. Chapter 5 will not be as long as previous versions but it is a very important one as you will see. Character building...

I received this photo from Vicky and Jensen... they left.

Had enough apparently...

But for the rest of us things are still motoring on.

I'd say around 20% with over 104 images done. It's at this stage of the game where it's all about renders. The story for Chapter 5 is planned out I just need the renders so that I can continue with the dialogue etc...

Release time soon

Getting proofreading back soon then it's updating the RenPy file, fix any coding issue's that usually pop up at the last minute. Add some images I have been waiting on to add and then release to the Top Tier patrons first.

So for my other Tiers just hang on a bit after I've released it to the Top Tiers.

First Alpha test confirmed what I have been thinking about... I wanted to add more content to certain parts. That is what will happen then.
I cannot give you a progress report percentage as, even though I know what I want to add, you know me I can't stop adding lol.

Hi my freaking awesome patrons...

It looks we are at 60% progress... Maybe I'm being modest but I will only be happy once I have reached the part of the story content I want to be at. Not going to rush this.

As I have indicated in an earlier post the new lighting techniques I am using are taking somewhat longer to render with current PC setup, but I am sure will look so much better wh...

Game Progress - Chapter 4

Hi All

So I come to you not to bullshit but talk straight. As you have read in a previous post I am working on fixing some of my lighting setups and improving on my renders as much as I can. This is both positive and negative. Positive is the images will have more feel and negative they render longer and I am re-rendering some of them again.

What all this means is that I am at probably only 35% ...

Chapter 4 - Intricacies

So production for Chapter 4 is going as it should... 

About 25% of progression for those who'd like to know.

I am also now playing with not a new idea but new to me primitives and lighting the scenes using them. This you will notice will enhance the color of some of the scenes and make the models eyes pop a bit more.

Hopefully you guys will like it as much as I do.

Please use supplied save file. After Chapter 3 you should be able to use your save files and not my copy. As i had some problems with regards to saving it's best to use my supplied copies for now.
