Lightbulb head mutant

Soon after mutant Lydia became sort of independent character I got an idea about her friend. This poor deformed fella is test subject from the lab. He was injected with experimental brain enhancing mutagen. The main effect was achieved but side effects were terrible. His head got swollen. He developed an extra eye that deformed entire left side of his face. On top of that, he became electric. A shock from his touch is enough to stun an adult man. New toy

 At one point Lydia found broken army vehicle with a couple of corpses. Rifles was way too heavy and recoil nearly broke her arm. But one of soldiers had some funny looking pistol and some ammo for it. This looks promising, she thought. Maybe this little "toy" will save her life rather than end it abruptly.

 I think it's important to know who are the parents of the character. To know who they are is to know in what surroundings your character was raised. In this case it was a loving family. Lydia's Walking Cycles

Ever since Lydia mutated I was wondering how her walk should look like. And I got two ideas. First one is her 'normal' walk or how she walks when nobody is watching. The second one is 'people walk' or walk when there are people around. It is designed to mimic human walk and put at ease non-mutated survivors. Used with a long skirt to cover tentacles.

Magos biologis Isha

My old Dark Heresy character 500 years after the old game and NPC in my new game. (FYI first game took place in around 300.M41)

Magos Biologis with a heavy interest in vat-grown flesh, evolution of abhumans and natural mutations. Considered radical by many and malatek by everyone else. Her body was destroyed many centuries ago. Now her brain is in a jar behind her right shoulder of the new vat-grown body.

Lydia Gear Up

The second picture of Lydia, the fluffy tentacled mutant. It was still the fan art. I've struggled to pull every possible detail from what I had in the game to flesh out her first reference sheet. I was pleased with the result and still using it as a reference for all other pictures.

Quiet moment

Back in August 2017, I was playing a game called Cataclysm DDA. I really liked the game and one of the characters inspired me to make a fanart. It was the beginning of this character. Very quickly my imagination took this concept and started building an entire story around her. Now this story is my main project.
