As of today since my return from my week+ long trip to Hawaii, I have a lot of stuff to do. I finally finished my tribute to this legendary post. Drawing this entire piece took well over 16 hours to complete and I'm finally done. It will definitely be a while before I do another drawing with 6 characters in it but I'm very proud of the result.

Here's a quick little demo showcasing how I take advantage of a basic airbrush and lasso tool to achieve shading on very smooth and soft forms.

Here's a demo gif to show my process for quickly filling areas of color. I use the lasso tool in tandem with the fill command (default: Alt+Backspace). I find this much easier and more precise than the much too common way of painting in the colored area with a circle brush.

EDIT: I've developed a version that functions in any order you draw the strokes in. However, it only currently works properly on solid layers due to how CSP handles blending modes on transparency.

I got to test out Procreate on a friend's iPad Pro. The experience was super unique but way different from what I'm used to on my tablet! Definitely a really nice portable drawing tool grouped with the Apple Pencil. I think I'll stick to what I'm used to, though.

Here's a general quick look at what my drafts typically look like. The top left is slightly more developed but I always focus on the general figure before worrying about any clothing elements. I also work straight to linework; I never really do a linework pass because I find that it messes with the flow of the drawing so my refinement process involves a lot of cleaning up of the draft.
