A little about my creative process

At the beginning of my creative 3D modeling journey, I worked as much as I wanted. And this led to unexpected unpleasant results - a couple of times I burned out. I am a very passionate person. Sometimes it happened that I woke up in the morning, went to model and after a while I noticed that it was already night. I literally sometimes forgot to eat on such days. I really love what I do, but this mode of work has a very negative effect.

On this shield, such a cutting option turned out to be much more difficult than it seemed at first glance. I try as much as possible, where possible, to make cuts where they are almost invisible or where it is easy to hide them in post-processing.

Most likely this option will be ready tomorrow.

Some thoughts and news.

- I will improve my Patreon page.

- I will make one "premium" model per month. If I have time, sometimes I will do the second one - perhaps smaller and simpler.

- In the near future, I will indeed be blocking old models for new Patreons, but not now =)

I finally finished the shield!

And it is full-sized - more than a meter in height =)

And it turned out just great, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The cut version will be out tomorrow, I just didn't have time. If someone wants to print this wonderful shield on a small printer, you can just download these files for now and see them, and then download the cut version and print it =)

Little good news

I think I got into the early access program to place digital goods directly on Patreon.

Hooray! 

In the near future I will try to move some of my work here. The functionality (as far as I can see now) is still limited, but it is already possible to beautifully design models on the site.

I woke up ^_^

And immediately noticed a slight discrepancy in the model.

My fresh perfectionist brain is horrified.

I'll replace the files in a few hours.

To be fair, it's not scary there, just in some places the pattern sticks out a little more, maybe 0.5 mm or less. It won't be visible, but I want everything to be great.

It was difficult, but doable. I finally made it to my deadline.

The difficulty was that I had two weeks to make the sword, but due to circumstances, I took up the execution of 2 orders in parallel with this sword :)

Some news

After finishing work on the shield, I realized that I was very close to burnout - it was a very voluminous job, as well as a certain amount of financial difficulties. Financial literacy is not my forte. Therefore, I did not have financial savings "for a rainy day."

But I took a couple of days off and am ready to start working on the next model.

I am also currently looking for additional orders just to pay the rent and taxes.

The next model is in active work.

I wrote above that the models will be on the 10th and 25th of each month. So it will be. I'll catch up with my plans, but I definitely don't want to sacrifice quality. In the meantime, here are teasers-screenshots of the work.

A bit 2d

Every day, in addition to modeling, I draw. I try to do this for at least half an hour. Since I do this to maintain my own mental health, as well as to maintain and improve my artistic vision - I usually do not publish it. But! Let me share with you another part of my work ^_^

I plan to release models here on the 10th and 25th of each month. On the 10th there will be main projects (so far these are swords), and on the 25th - additional ones (at the moment I'm making a shield).
