Eh, there are a lot of issues with this pic, I don't really like it and I'm getting tired of it. I guess I should take a break from it and do some Christmas stuff first.

This is taking so much time... This stuff is amazing but takes so much time to get done. I hoped to have the paint finished today and do the colors tomorrow but it's nowhere close to be finished and I want to do some Christmas stuff.

Woo, I took a completely different approach this time and the result is quite amazing. Almost finished painting, I have no idea how to color this but hopefully it will work. I'm really enjoying this technique and the final results are much more refined and classy I guess.

I've tried some painting today but gave up. It's too hard for me, I have no idea what to do and it looks terrible though it feels like it's much more convenient way to draw and the final result feels more natural.

I was planning to color and animate it but that head is terrible. I have no idea how to make a good looking pony head ugh

Experimental Poll Results

We got only 10 votes but I guess there won't be any more. I should post this on tumblr as well I guess.

Anyway, the results are interesting, look at the difference between Lyra and Ember in the standard example. You could tell that people will like Ember way more than Lyra though the extended poll shows that they are rather equal and Lyra is even better. Ember seems to be a character people either like or dislike since she got mostly 1 or 5, which means we would have 3 disappointed people with...

I guess I'll sketch both Lyra and Ember and then an another poll will decide which one will be colored. I could make a two character pic but this duo doesn't make much sense, so I'll stick with the first option.

I'm again into rainbow wife lately. I'm even thinking of trying some animation but the chance I'll come up with anything worth showing is roughly 03.82%.

The source file seems to be completely broken in Photoshop and SAIv1 unfortunately. SAIv2 is the only way now.

Well, this doesn't make any sense at all. Let's say it's just inspired by the MLP sphinx character. It's not even a sphinx at all – a sphinx is supposed to be a lion with human head (which in MLP universe naturally is a pony head), but here she's just a cat, not even a lion. She's rather a pharaoh I guess? Anyway, the head could be better but I really like it and it made a great wallpaper.
