Wanted to play with some perspective here, that's why I added that black frame, and I think it works fine, giving the impression the paws just pop out of the picture.
That also solved my never ending issue and struggle: Paws are always so big that they end up out of the frame...

Let me share with you this simple colored commission I did for Vaille!
For this pic I did several sketches and had to choose only one to color, which was quite difficult, and in fact, I'm still wanting to work on some other poses of this set. What do you think? Should I sell some of these to other guys?

Its common to find our drawings weird a little while after we "finish" them or think we are ready to color, but its always a good idea to give it some air and get back to it with fresh eyes, so we can take the picture to the next level.

More Otter Love!
I had such a blast working with this picture mostly due to playing with the idea of underwater action. I wanted to make clear that they were below the water, but without throwing all the colors to blue hues :p So I just added the water border touching some of the guys' bodies and I think that makes the effect.
Ahh this picture was such a pleasure to color! You can find the lineart for this one on an earleir post. And the commissioner, Rennix, even printed this one on canvass, which actually fits quite well the coloring style - painting style.
I was very impressed and very happy to see how that print came out ^^

This commisson is for FluffyBoi Lumi! who wanted his fluffy dragon character, and his PAWS to be painted by me, and gave me a lot of freedom to work with. He told me he was into videogames, and I wanted to make it a little bit more cyberpunkish than just adding a controller :P
